Worth every penny
I don't often write a review. Usually only if the product is junk or is amazing. This thing is amazing. I used it for the first time today. I spent a little over an hour in a black berry patch. I was absolutely amazed at how this blade just shredded anything it came into contact with. Before today I have been using the pole saw attachment and or the hedge trimmer attachment for the black berry management. Never again. This thing made short, fantastic work of the black berry bushes. And the occasional poison oak or wild rose. It did struggle at the base of some of the bushes where the stocks were more than 3/4" thick, but with a little work it would cut stuff over 2", ( as long as it was green material). It does not do as good of a job as a brush mower, but I was able to work on a site that was much too steep for a brush mower. It tends to throw chunks back at the operator, not constantly, but often, next time I use it I will wear my saw chaps and a light jacket as some of the pieces that struck me left welts, but the smile never left my face. I figure the amount of work completed in an hour more than made up for the occasional stinging impact. I always wear a face shield when doing weed trimmer work and I did so today as well. Don't know why anyone would not use some type of eye protection. My trimmer does not have a harness, which made the work more strenuous, but still manageable. I would and do recommend this product for anybody needing it.

Throws Trimmer Off Balance
I use a Milwaukee M18 Fuel string trimmer. I needed to go through dense but thin woody grass and weed. Not saplings or true wood. This thing got off balance enough that the string trimmer repeatedly turned off. I tried low speed and fast speed and tried to find a me brush it could handle. It just doesn't work with the Milwaukee. I assume this is because of a protection the Milwaukee has built in. On the other hand, I had great success with the saw blade style. It worked great in all types of brush. I assume this is because the weight is balanced around the surface of the blade.

Shreds Blackberries Amazingly Fast
I have tried flat blades and and circular blades but we have over an acre of Himalayan blackberries that are a major pain to take down. I used this blade and took the whole acre down in 45 minutes. The downward angles on the blade make all the difference. It is heavy and takes a second or two to spin up to speed but then it rips and shreds, even on bushes as tall as 6 feet. It leaves stubble about two inches tall that is easily taken to ground with a flat blade. The blade sharpens easily For the money, can't be beat.

Great for brambles and autumn olive
I am using this to clear some overgrown areas. It is full of brambles, autumn olive, and honeysuckle. This just easily mows down all the grass and weeds with ease. the brandies you can go for a top down to mulch them. The autumn olive and honey suckle it can take down from 2" trunks. It isn't a clean cut, but it does chop them down. I am using a stihl 131 (36cc, 1.9bhp)

Great product, well made, great price .
What an awesome product. It truly chews up and mulches vines and small saplings. I would highly recommend wearing chainsaw safety chaps on top of long pants as this thing throws fairly large pieces that have left welps on my legs.

Bramble Apocalypse
This blade eats blackberry canes/ vines like it was cotton candy (small tree suckers as well). Start at the top of the bush and just drop it to the bottom. Boom! Instant mulch. This blade doesn't mess around. The only caveat that I'll throw out is this: Make sure you have a decently powered trimmer, that really will be your only limiter.

What a tool!
These things are amazing! The metal on this brand seems a bit weak as it dented and bent right away, but they still work, just use all your safety gear, they throw pieces everywhere.

It works
We are on acreage which have overgrown foliage surrounding ditches and it works like a charm removing the brambles/blackberries overgrowing into the ditch. Definitely would buy this one again.
