Does what it’s supposed to do at a reasonable price

Works really well for converting security cameras to HDMI if you aren't using a DVR.

Bought the product in June but didn't get my security camera setup until a week ago. When I connected it up, the video displayed briefly and then went out. The power light on the converter went out. I contacted customer service and they are sending me a new one, even though it's past the return period. They are awesome.

Easy setup works as it claims also like the extra output tied to my NVR security system for additional eyes on the area being recorded highly recommend get it.

I tested this product with the Lorex LBV2521-C. It has great 1080p image quality but has these random horizontal line-like artifacts. It does work in both the 75ohm or Hi-Z modes.

In my case, this unit doesn't get every day use, but it's done a fairly good job for the use it gets. I'm using it to display an image from an inexpensive security camera to a flat panel TV. Signal runs from the camera through 2 50' BNC cables to this unit and then to the TV. Overall, very good image quality with biggest limitations coming in on the camera end. I have noticed a few times that I'll get some static looking lines that will scroll down the screen once in a while, but it's very few and far between and not often enough for me to reliably trouble shoot yet. If it were getting regular use it would be an issue, but in this case it's not.

the product worked as advertised. I was able to take an analog CVBS signal via BNC cable, connect it to the converter and then use an HDMI monitor. Plug and play. The image quality was not very good. While I would not expect a super sharp image when upscaling analog to digital HD, I did not care for the "flickering" effect like it was a 1980's CRT television with white lines rolling through the image. It was hard on the eyes to view.

This is a great product except the power connector has no mechanical support. It is held in place by two small solder joints on the printed circuit board. Any stress on the power connector will break the solder joints. Raised to 5 stars for excellent service. A replacement was quickly issued for my problem device.

I brought this to be able to send BNC cable from analogue HD security camera to a digital monitor accepting HDMI. This works straight out of the box. I'm using it as a witness cam and cannot see much lag at all, so ideal for real time/live monitoring where timing could be crucial.

We needed this device to convert a TVI CCTV signal to display on an HDMI screen. It worked automatically when connected and powered up. The mounting brackets were very useful as it needed to be attached to the wall behind the screen. Over all, very happy.
