Just like 'Oma' used
The price is way higher than a typical potato ricer, but for making spaetzle, this is so much better because it has fewer and wider holes than an Oxo or other ricers. Heavy duty, and this is coated so it is dishwasher safe (so they claim, I haven't tried). But none of the dough escapes the top while pressing, and dough doesn't stick to the insides too bad, so making multiple batches is easy.Don't forget to pan fry your spaetzle after boiling it! :)

This was purchased as a replacement for our old Spatzle maker which was wearing out. My wife loves Spatzle and she is very happy with this one. Cleanup is easier than with the old maker as this one has a removable handle.
