Egg Slicer – Egg Slicem – Best Egg Slicer

We slice hard-boiled eggs almost every single day, so I have been through quite a few slicers. I liked that this one was all plastic (except the wires) with no hinges to rust. As we used it, the wires got looser and looser until one finally pulled completely out today. It's been four years, so maybe that's not too bad, but don't expect to pass it down to your kids.

This egg slicer chopper is the perfect gift, as it’s made for slicing and chopping hard-boiled eggs, mushrooms, and smaller fruit like strawberries and kiwi. My favorite features include the non-slip base and the concave design for the egg to sit inside. It’s small enough to sit on a kitchen counter, easy to wash, and safe enough for my big kids to use.I use it most for egg salad sandwiches, fruit salad, Cobb salads, and fried rice. It’s definitely a time saver, and creates nice, even slices that look great on top of a salad! And at under $10.00, it’s hard to beat the price!

I am a bit disappointed with this slicer because once of the slicing wires on it was loose when it arrived. It still slices adequately, but I'm sure it will probably not last long with use.

Don't care for this buy I watch the wires bend when I cut the egg but so far it is working not sure how long it will last price I feel was to high for this

It arrived quickly. The tines are close together. I was very excited to use it and try new things because the reviews were positive. I tried to slice a strawberry first thing and the tines stretched and were unable to slice the strawberry. Having said that It probably would be fine to slice eggs if that's all you do.

Sliced 1 egg and 1/2 the wires came loose. I give 2 stars only because the rest of the wires stayed in. The previous other 3 egg slicers I've purchased, different brands/stores, have all completely broken. Strange and that in today's high tech world no one can up with a cheap and robust way to quickly slice a hard boiled egg.....

Great for eggs. Love it for slicing or dicing eggs. Every holiday meal around my place requires a ridiculous amount of boiled eggs ...but don't use it for anything else lest you stretch the cutting wires and make it useless for said eggs!! Trust me...it only takes one strawberry to ruin this handy little, only good for eggs device.

Not what I'm looking for. "Nest" for holding the egg is actually too small to hold a large egg. Not worth the money.
