The product was new to me but I thought I would give it a try as was fed up with either having to break up the firefighting blocks or ending up with bits everywhere from those made from shavings. These came and they where small individual sticks , don't smell and light well in the wood burner. They do burn for long time about 8-10 minutes so get fire going even with damp wood. Very Good product

A fantastic product for your solid fuel camping stove, as well as many other scenarios where fire is required to boil water, cooking out in the back country or just lighting a BBQ etc. A really reliable initial and back-up fire lighter to go in your tinder box. Performs well, It lights quickly and provides the kind of flame required to get your fire or wood burning camping stove going. With the added bonus knowing that this fuel is kind to the environment and won't create any toxic fumes or effect the taste of your food.Highly recommend this product.

These work really well and for that I like them. They light quickly and burn for long enough to get my fire going. However, and this is a BIG disappointment for me, every 5 sticks are packed in a little plastic bag. I bought these as eco firelighters there is nothing eco about that many little bags.I won't buy them again because of the unnecessary plastic, which is a shame.

Well packaged product, took a bit of time to get going but worked well with our wood pizza oven and created a good flame

I bought these to help light our Chimenea and fire basket and they really work. Just light, drop in, add kindling and job done. No nasty greasiness like firelighters, no messing about getting them stacked right, just throw them in. Being small there is no storage issue and they don't smell nasty either. Really impressed but did have to chuckle at the Californian warning on the side of the box.

These are teeny tiny little sticks that come in packs of 10 or so in a bigger box.They don’t light easily at all and you have to use A LOT of them to actually get anything going.Found them pretty useless and went back to regular kindling and fire starters.

These fire lighters are excellent; they are very easy to light, don't go out when you put more lump wood on top of them and they burn for about 10 minutes which is ample time to light my Kamado Big Joe. The box contains 100 fire lighters and they are then separated into sealable bags of 5 so they won't dry out and, if you don't use all 5, the little bag seals up so they stay fresh. I normally use one and a half to two sticks per side of my fire basket which is enough to get the Kamado well under way. These sticks have no smell so they don't taint your food like some of the other chemical based fire lighters on the market. I would highly recommend the flame sticks to anyone who wants to light a BBQ and is serious about not compromising the flavour of their food.

These are pants. They don’t light very well at all and then puff out really quick if you dare to breath near them. So good luck trying to shut the fire door.I gave up and just chuck them in to get rid of them now and bought the little haybale looking lighters instead which are amazing!
