The quality of the cable is solid and not flimsy. It charges my phone and also worked for data & audio. It works with my Apple original 30 pin to lightning adapter in my car.

Got it to extend my iphone to hdmi connecter for my car to mirror my iphone to my cars display. Does exactly what I got it for. Its sturdy and slim at both ends. On the female end, it snaps on really tight which is what I like the most about it. Seems like it will last very long. Bought 2 just in case it doesn't.Had a different brand (Cellularize) before this one and that one was flimsy and lasted a year with light use. Don't buy that one. The male end will start to fail and not make a firm connection and will lose contact when moved in anyway. It starts to get worse until it wont charge the phone anymore.Other people are reporting that it does not transmit video data. It works for me. The reason why it may not work for others is because they are extending it too long. Cables are designed to work for a certain length. The longer a cord is, the thicker it has to be, and more power is needed to push that data through.

I can't get a consistently good connection on the male end of this cable. a) it doesn't fit well through my phone case, the casing on the male end connector is too large and b) even with my phone case off, I can't get a reliable audio connection through this cable.Other devices, e.g., the apple lightning-3.5mm adapter, fit through my case fine and make a solid connection.As a cable, this has a seemingly simple job to do and it fails to do it. Your milage may vary, but, for me, this was simply a waste of money.

It’s hard to find the extension adapter/cable. Works as discirbed and appears to be durable.At first, I used it connect my iPhone 6s to my laptop, transfer both data/music/picture and charge my apple iPhone.And then using for my iphone to connect to my bose speaker dock. I thought that the 3ft length maybe too long toowork. Surprised the 3ft length cable worked so well, half a turn of the cable behind the dock & nice lead for my phoneto lay flat on shelf on my desk. Works as it advertised, manufactured well, solid connection. Both sound and chargingis great.I’m very satisfied with the extension cable. Thank you.

Bought this to extend an iPhone 6 Plus from the USB connection in a Lexus center console USB connection via an Apple Original (White) Lightning Cable for the purposes of Video transmission and iPod connection.The facts: EMATETEK Initially gave me a tracking number with a 2 days arrival estimate, then responded within 1 day when I eMailed the package arrived at a different location. Received an order delivery inquiry from EMATETEK saying: 'Apologize for that Issue, Don't worry. We will send you a new cable again, Thanks for contacting from EMATETEK Official! Have a nice day!!! Enjoy your life!!!'. Replacement cable took over 2 weeks to arrive, and when it did, it would not work to connect as an iPod, Data Sync, nor Video transmission (In spite of it's description). Thinking it could be the car, I tried with multiple Apple lightning cables (Original, and Aftermarket) as a source, and tried with a Mac Mini, MacBook Air, and PC.In short, black cable looks nice and feels like a good build, but does not work for anything other than charging.The good: EMATETEK communicates frequently. Cable comes nicely packaged, and looks fantasticThe Bad: Two tracking numbers incorrect and invalid, cable doesn't work for video transmission (which is why I bought it)P.S. The 2nd tracking number still shows as not being activated yet, and I receieved a second eMail that was an exact cut and paste of the first one. I'll update in two weeks if another arrives and works, but until then: "Enjoy your life!!!"

I opened the package.Took the cable out and noticed right away that the cable felt like great quality. I was getting excited. Plugged the male end into my phone with a case on, which is why i needed it. Many things don't plug in because of the case. So far so good. I have an iXY mic which is a pretty high end mic. It was too tight and I didn't want to force it so i got my power cable to plug in. It was extremely tight but it finally snapped in. No power. I unplugged and plugged it in several times to loosen it up. I tried the mic again - reluctantly - and it snapped in but not easily. The mic would not show up and the light would not come on showing no connectivity.Fortunately, i also purchased their dock extender which plugged in easily. connected the mic and it worked great. My wife asked me why I bought both and got onto me when i ordered. I get a victory dance when I show her the cable didn't work but the other one did and that I'm glad that I was,'t going to have to wait to get the part in. LoL.

I had been looking for an adapter to my iPhone 8 plus for a while that would allow me to hook it up to my clock without having to remove the case. This cable solves the problem. Thanks very much.Works great! Shipping was fast, high quality item. Love it very much. Highly recommend!!!
