CapaShaker Eco-Fitness Protein Shaker Bottle

I want so badly to give this bottle a good review, but it's just SO chinsy. The first thing I noticed when I received it was how thin the stainless part was and how the plastic lining of the bottom container and the plastic top just seemed to be of very poor quality. The stainless part being thin seems fine to me but it just seems so cheaply made. Beyond that, the little rubber seal that goes between the lid and the main shaker part... This is a total pain to get in and out pf the groove (and you do want to take it out so that nothing gets trapped in there and starts growing) and even when I place it very carefully, the bottle still sometimes leaks. The size of this bottle is perfect and I love that the lower container removed completely, but you also can't take the fan-like divider/shaker piece out from underneath the cap which means you need to rinse it with hot water immediately after use and then wash it in the dishwasher (because it's near impossible to wash around and through that piece with your hands or a sponge). I promise you I am a very fair reviewer and am very sad to not give this a better review. I don't think I've ever given anything on Amazon this low a review. Totally disappointed. Especially for the price.

The reason I gave four stars is because I have trouble screwing the lid closed. The cap stays on pretty well when shaking the bottle but I still place a finger over the cap when shaking as a precaution. The secret compartment bottom is great for storing stuff. The inside part is metal but the lid is mostly plastic with a built in plastic spoke separator/whisk. I still received a wire ball to help mix the protein powder but I found that I didn't need it because of the built in mixer device. Over all, I would buy another one!

The brushed stainless steel she'll detached from the bottom storage cup after 7 days of daily use. Not too big of a deal. It was a big deal when the SS shell detached from the body. The epoxy didn't hold together. I contacted the manufacturer and received a very apologetic reply and assurance I would received a replacement. After waiting several months, I still haven't received the replacement. Not worth $25.Pros - Pretty cupCons - Not durable with everyday use, over priced, I had to over-tighten the lid to prevent leaks while closed, warranty wasn't honored by manufacturer, a lot of noise shaking (steel ball bouncing inside of steel).

i make protein drinks daily. This doesn't keep the smell which is the reason why I purchased. It's nice that I can put protein powder in seperate compartment.

This is a very sleek stainless steel protein shaker bottle and was thrilled when I was afforded the opportunity to purchase at a discount solely for the purpose of testing and providing feedback. It's a very good size and will provide you with over 20 ounces of protein shake. It's super easy to use! You can mix it now or fix it later on the go. I didn't even notice when I purchased that it had a storage cup at the bottom that allows you to mix it up later. I've started a new daily routine that involves replacing two meals with a protein shake and then having a light supper of lean protein mean and lots of veggies. Well the first time I used, I washed it thoroughly and added skim milk and my protein powder, made sure the mixing tool/whisk was in the shaker, secured the lid and started shaking away. In just a few minutes it was mixed well and ready to drink. Being that its stainless steel it keeps the milk cooler while drinking. After I finished it, I washed it out again, and took the bottom cup off and added protein powder to go, added more milk, secured the lid and left for work. I did place in the fridge at work to keep my milk chilled. All in all its a great product and I'm hoping it will last a long time. I'm happy that it's stainless and doesn't hold smells like plastic containers do.

I got this on promotion and only had to pay for shipping. It's an ok shaker, definitely not worth the original price tag. Now, I could have gotten a defective one, but mine just didn't work well. The lid would never screw on correctly and the flip top doesn't stay closed tight. I like one that will close tightly so that if you accidentally knock it over you don't loose everything and make a mess.
