Brilliant
Good quality very easy to use. They are aLot smaller than the older plug timersAnd can be operated by your phone brilliant.

Handy bit of kit
Easy to set up, can manually turn the switch on and off via your phone or program times throughout the day. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because I tried to alter the times over the weekend but for some reason it didn’t work so I resorted back to a weekly setup.

Neat remote switch
Work in conjunction with Yale alarm system - used this to switch external lights on/off at preset times. Time schedule can be set remotely from mobile phone.

IMPORTANT - Smart Plugs
Alarm works fine, that is door sensors, PIRs, sounder, however the smart plugs are a disaster. I bought one, it worked for a day then the unit remained permeantly power on even when switched off. It clicks on and off ok, but the plugged in light remains on all the time.Tried uninstall/re-install, tried different plugs, different lights, all the same.Got a replacement and this does EXCATLY the same, i.e. power stays on, even when device is switched off.Called technical three times, three different people had different ideas, first had no idea what I was talking about, second seemed to acknowledge there was an issue with the sockets, apparently to do with naming them, third had me removing the app, refreshing the firmware, but yet it still happens.Given up now, sockets being returned, going to use smarthings hub instead.BTW, I'm a qualified electrician, electronic security engineer who currently works in IT, with 30 years experience, either I'm truly crap at my job or these products simply do not work.there is nothing on line about this issue I could find, YALE, I hope ypu sort this out as the rest of the products seem good

Pricy but got as we have Yale app and security system
These were brought to use alongside a Yale security system for the house when we are away, we use radio and lights and tv plugged into them for the illusion someone is home. They are more expensive than other brands but we got them to use the app we already had for ease of use.So far so good, simple to turn on/off and install

Yale Smart Plug - works but very limited functionality for price
The Yale Smart Plug is very expensive for what it does. It can basically be turned on and off via the Yale App and scheduled to come on / off at a specific time. It that's all you need, then it does it's job, however:- There's no integration with any of the other Yale Smart Alarm features i.e. if Motion Detected or Contact Sensor changes status THEN turn on Smart Plug- It's not possible to integrate it with e.g. Apple HomeKitAs such, it's basically an expensive way to own a smart plug compared to something like e.g. the Wemo plug, which does everything the Yale Smart Plug can do, but it integrates with e.g. HomeKit so you can trigger automations on other events. E.g. If motion detected outside, trigger lights on insideThe rest of the Yale kit is excellent. But the Smart Plug is a bit "on it's own" and if I hadn't thrown the box away I'd have returned it for two of the Wemo plugs instead.
