Handy little gadget
Purchased one of these a week or so ago and it arrived very quickly. Doddle to set up on the bedside table and I placed the outside remote sensor on top of our garden shed, which was detected and paired within a minute or two by the main unit.I thought it was playing up the night before last though. It was freezing cold outside but the main unit was only showing one degree temperature difference between the outside and inside temperatures, which had me a bit puzzled............until I found out that one of our lads had seen the remote sensor sitting on top of the shed, and not realising what it was had brought it inside for safe keeping. It was sitting on the dining room window sill!!All in all a great little gadget that looks good, works well and appears very good value for money.PS The instructions are both informative and easily understood, despite their "flimsy" appearance.Update 20/01/2014Errrr........the outside sensor has stopped working. It's not waterproof peeps. :-(And now the clock is knacked. In the bin it goes

Weather station too bright at night
This is a great piece of kit, lets you know the weather likely in your area for the next 12 hours, has room temperature and humidity details and the outdoor sensor works even though I placed it down the garden and over 60 feet away from the main unit. There are a multitude of other details this machine gives from tides to pressure readings and is a easily read format. Set up is easy if you follow the instructions which come with the Weather station. Can only find one draw back with the item and that isn't really a fault, but I bought this as a bedside clock as well as a weather station and at night the regular light is simply too bright. It tends to light up the room, as per a child's night light would and I can't get to sleep with it. If the back light could be dimmed for night time use it would be perfect. The irony here seems to be there is a button to press to give you five seconds of a 'brighter' light, which is totally redundant because of the standard brightness setting, as I have described.

Simply Perfect
The media could not be loaded. I bought this wireless weather station over others for 2 reasons. A) it looks better, and B) it has more functions for the price range, like sunset / sunrise times and moon-phase.Had it for a few days now and really like it. Like the fact it comes with a mains adapter included, as having to change batteries is always a pain. You set the device as you would any electronic clock, but one thing to note on setting up is that to get correct sunrise / sunset times and moon-phase, you should enter your correct location by doing this as per manual:Hold the "LOC" button for 2 seconds, and the city name code will flash on the display. You then just press up or down to move to your location (code from manual), and then press the "LOC" button again to confirm it. Simple to do and quite impressive that the device has 160 EU cities it can be set to.Overall it is easy to use, works as expected, and looks great. Just what I wanted.

Good but could be improved.
Good Points :-- clear colourful bright display (also a drawback if using in a bedroom - see below)- outdoor sensor seem to have a good range compared to other units I've had, and seems accurat(ish). It doesn't claim to be waterproof, but I've put it in a sheltered area in the garden and added a bit of tape around the battery compartment and its been fine in very wet conditions.- numeric barometer reading is handy.- has moon and tide indicators- indoor and outdoor humidity- barometer trend indicatorCould be better:-- display at night time far too bright for a bedroom. However I've got a workaround using a timed plug so it operates on battery at night (display can be lit up with the push of a button, and on the mains in the daytime - display always on.- clock needs manually setting, and isn't automatically radio controlled/set.- the weather 'forecast', as with other units, is just based on the barometer reading so is as accurate/inaccurate as any old fashioned barometer.- the sunrise/sunset is a nice feature but only as a rough guide. It can only be set for a few UK cities (and doesn't seem fully accurate for those locations) and only updates once a week.- a bit lightweight and easily knocked over, so don't use the alarm in case i destroy it one morning !- moon phase not accurateOverall a nice looking unit, which I'm pleased with.

Excellent Product
Bought this Weather Station in October .. Set up is easy - display is clear and easy to understand. Lots of infomation on a little screen can be - sometimes a little frustating but it's clear, concise and easy to interpretate on this product. The display is always 'ON' when plugged in via the adapter, if you're planning to use the batteries only option - then you'll have touch one of the side buttons to make it 'light' up. So far it's be reasonalby accurate with its weather predicting and the temperature(s). There are more expensive units on the market but for the price I can't see any reason to pay more.
