I'd like a geeky cyborg, please
This series is so much fun. Lots of sexy guys and beautiful women. And my favorite, issues, girl. Issues.Einstein was PERFECT! He's the geeky cyborg, super intelligent, and focused on his job. He doesn't have time for women because there's always something he can tinker with, fix, or upgrade. He's the perfect workaholic with a big heart. He's also a guy so lonely he refuses to see it. He is not interested in the opposite sex unless there's a damn good reason for him to be bothered. Einstein isn't cold, just...clueless, in a sad way. After he is given B785 (Bonnie), a female cyborg he thought was dead, his life changes. Bonnie is 100 times more sensual, bold, and over the top compared to him. She's also hiding her own pain and uncertainty, which once you know her history, you just bleed for her. They both needed love so badly and that gripped me. Who hasn't wanted to belong, or feel like they meant something to someone. Who hasn't wanted to be special, or worth any risk? These two made this story compelling. I just loved it.

Back to the eve i love
I am happy to say eve is back. I enjoyed this book alot. Exactly what you expect from ms langlais i enjoyed this more that the other ones. I found it lighter and more humorous. I loved bonnie seducing the nerdy cyborg. The interactions between the cyborgs on the ship was hilarious. The action was interesting and it sound like the series will be heading in an interesting direction

Cyborg love...with a plot
First of all, this book is well written and well-edited. I don't remember being distracted from the story by avoidable errors even once. There is a clever plot, with believable events leading to the erotic scenes, some humorous dialogue, and plenty of references to booth human and cyborg reactions. This is a part of a larger series of stories depicting ex-military cyborgs who have freed themselves and are continuing to look for and free others, establishing a cyborg planet. Lots of spaceship scenes that include enough detail to continue your immersion in the story but not so much that your mind goes off on a scientific tangent. This is the story of Einstein, a super-intelligent cyborg, and Bonnie, a cyborg that retained her human emotions and was punished/tortured by the military by using her as a sex cyborg (story begins after torture, does not include any of those scenes). Good story, good writing, well-edited digital book (thank you, Eve L., for respecting your work enough to ensure it is presented properly.) If you like a love story set in space, seasoned with a little light humor and basic erotic scenes (1 man, 1 woman, non-fetish sex...with actual emotion behind them), this would be it. As a plus, it's part of a series, so there is more to come.

3 stars. But In a good way.
A female Cyborg (half human, half machine) with issues about her past, awakens from a deep slumber to meet a male cyborg who is half nerd, half supercomputer, and they flirt and do the mating dance (figurative I mean, not an actual tango or anything like that.)It's a good story for someone who hasn't been reading much lately. It has a light plot that's a bit predictable but in a good way. It's the kind of book that reminds you why you enjoy sci-fi/fantasy romances as you curl up in bed and smile with glee. And because I haven't been keeping up with my usual reading habits: it was nice to have a book that felt like a soft comfortable old shirt, the kind with a few holes in it, but one you'll be damned if you give up.That being said, because there isn't much to this book in way of groundbreaking content, you'll find yourself quite disappointed by the end of it if you were looking for a universe spanning, star wars/trek type epic. There are no aliens. There are no new worlds to discover. There's not even a philosophical discussion on the implications of whether or not it's rape, if you're considered an appliance, and you are molested. Not that such a thing is even necessary to discuss, or pertinent to the overall story arc, but there were lots of missed opportunities to analyse cyborg/human philosophy (even as metaphors for real world stuff or whatever). It isn't entirely bereft of psychological thingies. There are more than a few paragraphs dedicated to the whole "what it means to be human" bit that comes from cyborg stories. There's some inner turmoil from both parties, though it seems like you hear more of it from the guy's perspective, while the girl's perspective only glances over it.There's some obligatory action scenes, after all, the cyborgs are rebels who are running from the military, and deal with bloody space pirates and all that. It's ok. The twists and turns weren't bad. The good part about the action scenes though, was the fact that it made you cheer for the heroes and hiss and boo for the baddies. There are sexy bits. And the bit's that are sexy are descriptive, but short and to the point. It also comes with lots of the teasing-type of romance stuff.3 stars. But In a good way. It's comfortable and I'm glad that it exists, though not enough to say it's a fave.

B785
Bonnie better known as B785, had shut herself down when the general told her her sister was gone for good. Einstein had taken a short work vacation to a bordello for his brethren of cyborgs. He had fixed all the bots and found a disfunctioned sex bot or so he thought. Turned out the the sex not was actually a female cyborg!!! Now if he can get her working and find out her story. What can happen? Recommend this book and series.

B785
Bonnie was told her sister was dead and she was next after all she had sacrificed for her female cyborg counterparts. B785 just shut down and ended up in a pleasure not planet. Einstein negotiated a better deal by doing repairs when he asked about the deactivated bot. The owner gave Einstein the unit. Then Einstein did an uncharacteristic thing and kissed her.

Sex, love, betrayal, and deadly danger in the asteroid belt!
Bonny the cyborg sex slave of the military, weighed down by her past and losing all hope, switches off. Her depraved military masters think her dead and allow her body to be stolen by pirates who sell her for parts. She is accidentally rescued and then inadvertently revived via some clandestine lip therapy from a braniac geek Prince Charming. The plot develops rapidly as the cyborg renegades realise how important she is while the ruthless and despicable military are stalking them through the asteroid fields using ever improved technology and dirty tricks. Our cyborg heroes joke and fight their way through a series of increasingly difficult and dangerous situations. The tensions repeatedly build to a succession of climaxes and the good hearted cyborgs are all and each on their own journey of self-discovery; Bonny starts learning that others value her just for who she is rather than what she was forced to do in the past and cyborg Einstein super geek leaves behind his former distain for 'testicular evacuation'.The story is lots of fun but this series would be improved if the writer was more careful with her astronomical descriptions, for example by not seeming to confuse the relative sizes of our Solar system and the Milky Way galaxy.

Cute geek meets his (flawed) princess.
This book continues the series about men (& some women) who have been taken by the military when close to death and converted into cybernetic organisms, or cyborgs. They have had control interfaces inserted into their brains which has enabled the military to program them for use in various jobs. They also had their memories as a human blocked.A number of them were able to overcome the programming and revolted. Those who survived found a distant planet and set up their own society. At first of was an all male society until they discovered that about a dozen females were also converted.Books one and two were the stories of Chloe and Joe and Fiona and Solus. This book is the story of Bonnie (Chloe's sister) and Einstein.Einstein is your typical geek. He can't understand why the other cyborg males like to have sex let alone fall in love! So, when he finds Bonnie stored in a crate in a bordello, he has no idea why he starts having strange feelings and responses to her. This is a really cute story and Einstein is like a loveable puppy.Bonnie is the only cyborg who has kept all her memories but, as you relive her past mistakes with her, you have to question whether that's a good thing really.I really like this series and think it a pity that there are always so many errors (both in the editing and knowledge of astronomy) - but not enough to stop me from continuing to get the next book in line (or then one after that LOL).Recommended r 18+ readers.
