A Year of Paper Piecing: 12 Sensational Seasonal Designs (Block a Month)

I plan to make every one of these; however, I would not recommend this for the beginning paper piecer. Some of the designs are quite complex. A few of them would be suitable for a beginner. For the experience user, these patterns will make great gift quilts. I have a stand on my mantle with a mini-quilt. I plan to use these as single, finished blocks to change each month. It is rare that a quilter ever uses their own projects. You will want to keep a set of these :-).

The patterns in this paper piecing book are more complicated than many examples, and they can stand alone as seasonal blocks or be part of a 12 month quilt.

I'm fairly new to paper piecing and wanted to make a calendar quilt. When I saw this book I was excited since the entire year is in it. It's done all the thinking for me.

I can't wait to make things with these.

These are very involved paper piecing which I am very excited to try. Descriptions and piecing instructions look very thorough.

This is a present so hopefully the recipient will like it. To me, it seems expensive and at the price it was I would have expected it to be shrink-wrapped. It arrived in a box with other items with a bent corner.
