Great overall, low carb, high fiber, fairly inexpensive
I was originally looking for a gluten free, low carb alternative to chips (that wasn't pork-rinds). 80 packages later, I'm still extremely pleased. One of the last foods I hadn't replaced with a low carb alternative was potato / corn chips. This fits the bill perfectly for my needs. They're roughly half the net carbs per serving as potato / corn chips, which isn't super low carb, but it was the only thing I could find that was practical that was still crunchy. Pork rinds could also fit the bill, but they're disgusting if you think about it, and are much harsher o the environment.More recently, I've needed to take on a high fiber diet. These chips are very high in fiber. If I eat two servings per day, that takes care over more than a third of my fiber intake. It's certainly much more pleasant than taking fiber powder and provides a comparable amount of fiber. These chips are certainly a bit more expensive than buying potato / corn chips, but it's hard to compete with the government-subsidized corn / potato industries. However, if you compare this to other alternatives, this brand has been the best price (so far).In terms of flavor, I very much like it. Potato / corn chips are always going to taste slight better than this, but that's just because the human body craves the most efficient fuel available: carbs. This is certainly the more mature choice. I still eat two servings of this every day along with some hummus. If the flavor weren't good, I wouldn't be able to bear eating this 7 days a week.I can tell this food isn't overly processed, or I would get some unpleasant digestive issues after the fact. It's quite a light snack.

Great for autoimmune diet
Today is Nov 17, 2017. I've been on a very hard autoimmune diet, no dairy, nuts, seeds, beans, oaks, grains, nightshade family (peppers, eggplant, etc.), no sugar, no watermelon, pineapple, no potatoes and some other items, it's easier to think what I could eat, since April. I'm finally trying to introduce some foods such as beans and seeds. These are amazing and the best thing I've tasted in months. It's so nice to be able to actually have something available to buy that I can eat. These are AMAZING. Plus it isn't sweet! I can have apples and sometimes I don't want something sweet. These are crunchie, have a little spice kick to them. I can't keep them in my house. I have to keep ordering them. They don't make me bloated or I haven't noticed any bad effects from these. I think they are made so darn well and I am extremely appreciative that these are available. I've ordered them twice in the two pack and I'm ready to order more. My sister eats a really clean diet and she loves these too. If you eat a clean diet and looking for a healthy snack, you have to try these. It's so worth it. Just wish the bag was bigger, it seems to be empty too soon once opened. Thank you for having these available!

Review by a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
This is a tasty portable snack. The chips are thicker than traditional "chips," but they are crisp. Unlike the typical chip, these are nutrient dense and fiber-filled.the flavors are good, but they are quite spicy--maybe too much so for some people. The average person will have a difficult time limiting the number eaten to a 130 calorie portion (7 pieces), so if you are the average person, I suggest you portion the chips into individual bags. Also be aware that at 300+ milligrams of sodium, the portion should also be limited.I like these crumbled on a salad as a replacement for croutons. They are also good crumbled and used as for a topping for soups or casseroles. These would be good to pack for travels -- much healthier than the fare offered on airplanes.

Crunchy, good for dips, a little burnt flavor sucks though
Very crunchy, good in soups and with hummus. Some taste burnt so that's lame, but most of them have a great spicy flavor and I like the crunch. They are pretty filling when paired with hummus, salsa, guac or other dips, which is a nice find.

The best falefel chips ever because they actually TASTE like falafel
These may be the best Falafel Chips I've ever eaten. First of all, ignore anyone whining about them not being thin enough or not enough like a Lay's Potato Chip or whatever. If they'd ever eaten real falafel they'd know that what they want is completely uncharacteristic of the dish. It's like ordering a T-Bone steak and complaining that 'it doesn't taste fishy enough'.I ordered these because my wife loves falafel chips and the local grocery store quit stocking her previous favorite. Since I'm a good husband, I ordered her a few different brands from Amazon and elsewhere. The first few bags we received were just 'OK'. For example, I'm eating another brand that they sell here at Amazon and elsewhere--I'll refer to them as 'Brand X Chips'--and they're not a bad eating chip. Of course, they taste almost nothing like falafel. You can get a faint chickpea note if you pay attention but it tastes more like a multigrain tortilla chip than anything else. These chips ACTUALLY TASTE LIKE FALAFEL. They even have a falafel like aftertaste and a faint spice kick to them. To anyone griping about that I'll point out the 'hot and spicy' in the item description. You can identify the ingredients (all natural BTW) by taste. They're also baked and not fried. Anyway, these are the best falafel chips I've ever had. If you like falafel you'll like these.

Bad Tasting Crumbs
To start with, these falafel "chips" were delivered in in a flat bag, not a box. As you might expect, sending chips through the mail in a flat, soft wrapper resulted in the falafel product getting delivered as crumbs, not chips. But OK, the texture was not as I expected, but what do they taste like you ask? Well I took a spoonful of the crumbs to find out. Have you ever eaten cardboard? There was a definite processed wood pulp and glue taste to the crumbs. Some spice. But mostly stale cardboard. I've no doubt that these are healthier than potato or corn chips, but unless you suffer from ageusia (loss of taste functions of the tongue), I recommend that you give these a pass. They may be low carb, I don't know. They certainly are low in taste pleasurel.
