Sakura SS3340 12V to 240V Power Inverter 80W

Had it for 6 months to power up my works tablet. Suddenly heard a pop and smoke coming from it. Carried on working which was what worried me. You’d think it would incorporate an overheat cut off. I’m convinced it had set on fire if I hadn’t immediately pulled it out of the cigarette socket.

bought this to for when we go to our t4 meetings in our van so some sort of power would have been nice :) good price works well very durable looks nice BUT see where that where that switch is it does make it interesting to get into the lighter lol but still manageable. one big downer the packaging it came in with a cut up box witch had been wrapped around it then taped allot but then i suppose they are not wasting witch is one good way to look at it

This is amazing value, we bought it for our motorhome over a year ago, it was far cheaper than equivalent models and does a very good job.When we haven't got electric hook up we pop it into the 12v socket of our motorhome and we can run low power 240 volt gadgets for example it will charge up a lap top or a phone, run a small television etc., but don't try to run anything that is high power like a heating appliance because it will blow the fuse.In summary a great gadget for camping or in the car on a day out if you haven't got access to an electric supply.

my partner uses a portable neb so we could use it in the car making life a bit easier worked brill the first time second time took so long to get it going we gave up have since tried it and gave up so now gathering dust in the garage very frustrating

Honestly do not know how I managed without this gadget for so long.I was sick and tired of the constant poor sound coming from my company vehicle works radio, so I bought this device which now allows me to plug in my portable Digital Radio.Highly recommended.

This fell apart before I used it! It's an electrical device and the wires were all exposed. so glad i hadn't used it before that, we could have been very seriously hurt.Would NEVER buy again

Fits cigarette lighter well, and does what it it supposed to do. Only thing that concerns me is that it does get very warm, including the plug that you put into it, so not suitable for using for extended periods.

I keep my husbands scooter charged all the time I am driving. Because its a heavy lump it tends to drop a bit, but it works fine.Just keep checking that the green light is on.
