I got this as a gift for a two-year-old who is presently very interested in all sorts of insects. She really enjoyed it, and the size of the specimens is perfect; they can be held in the hand easily and looked at from all angles.The specimens are good quality and there aren't any flaws in the resin blocks. You won't have to worry about a kid handling these roughly and breaking them, they're just about indestructible.It comes with a little paper guide to tell you about the bugs you got, and a magnifying glass as well. Really a great gift overall!

I order them for educational purposes. I received 3 packages. The butterfly and box of insects were good but some issues with the package of plastic insects. there were plenty of them but many samples were the same. One bee sample came with a broken leg. It included a frog and a bat. the insects did not have 2 pairs of wings and also some of them without antennae.

I got these for teaching my elementary science education class. Combined with a basic digital microscope, you can see some pretty good detail. I can also imagine my 3 year old being pretty keen on them. Though the resin is clear and the specimens are all complete and undamaged, some of the specimens are fit pretty tightly into the small space making it harder to see details from some angles. Hopefully, they stay scuff-free for a few years.

This is a very good set of bugs for a kid who is interested in studying bugs without touching them. My seven-year-old daughter is using them for her homeschooling (it comes with a magnifying glass). It’s what you expect it to be – – insects in case in cubes of plastic. I think a lot of different projects or assignments could be done with them.

I purchased this gift for my 6yr old niece. She LOVES bugs. The set was smaller than I expected (bugs are not exactly big), but quality was good. I will have to admit, the spider gave me the creeps. Overall, good buy and I can't wait for niece to open her gift.

Got these for myself to have as decorations for me room, but my toddler boys are obsessed with them. They are thick enough they don’t brake when they drop them. The bugs look incredible.
