Love this valance! I was looking for something understated but vintage looking. The fabric is cotton/sheer & the macrame is pretty & basic with a bead detail. Makes my country kitchen look inviting and cozy. I did not wash them first & they hung just fine right out of the packaging.

I bought this valance to soften the look above my kitchen sink window and hide the soffit lightbulb. I gave the valance a quick steam pressing, and hung it on a simple tension rod. The crocheted lace and gingham fabric are understated, casual, and just the perfect look. The fabric hides the light above the sink, and the lace with tassels and wooden beads give great texture to the look. And I like the humorous "hippy-dippy" feel!

The media could not be loaded.  I wanted some boho valences to add some character to my bathroom windows but still allow me to see my beautiful back yard. These were perfect! I highly recommend!
