I purchased sone true tenper shovels for a class and was inpress by how they stood up to student abuse. I decided to try one for personal use and, thus far, it has not dissapointed me. Makes quick work of roots 2/3" and smaller. Larger roots will cause issues, but you can grind down the edge if you need a root assassin. Ergonomics are solid for all deep shoveling actions. I should note that these are earily similar in build quality and design to "crastman" brand.

I have used multiple brands of drain spades over a 30 year career and finally found the best one. It is lightweight and very durable long lasting is the last test it has to pass.

This tool is good for it's job.

This is now my favorite shovel for digging holes, when I need to dig holes.

Good well made shovel. Great for trench work.

This tool does a great job. Not as fast as a trencher but still does a good job.

I love love this shovel. I have arthritis and this has been the easiest for me to use
