Imagine Out Loud: A Journal of Creative Discovery

What I like about this book,(journal), is that is not another journal. I found my self laughing, in some pages I cried because of the nostalgy it gave to me, to write a letter to my younger me, so many feelings emerged, but I saw my self with so much love, understanding that I tried to do my best always, but maturity comes with time, not by wish, and I found myself forgiving me. There’s others pages I laughed , others put my self to think and gave impulse to my creativity. ( ALL JANE DAVENPORT books do that). Importan: I’m not a fan, I’m an honest rewier, I have lost of books and journals. I’m a plastic artist, painter since childhood. If you wanna get real results, real light in this art journey, try Jane Davenport books, she’s so illuminated and such a positive person. But you have to love art.With her books, and her works, you feel you belong. You feel as you go forward with her words, that you have found gold.All of her books have a 100 stars from me.Get this one, believe me, you won’t regret it. I even decide I would by these books to my daughter, because they do work self esteem.This one, and all of her books are filled with positivity. Try it.

As always, Jane hit another one out of the park. Lets just start with the size & feel. This books cover just feels so nice in your hands, and the size is perfect to tuck into your purse so you can have creativity at your fingertips all the time. Her artwork is just so inspirational and helps your imagination get moving so you can create rather than doubt yourself all the time.If you like beautiful unique art then you should buy this book because you can just browse through it and no write a thing if you don't want to.If you want to get your artist out of the box... get this book. Jane Davenport will inspire you for sure.

Jane Jane Davenport's artwork and quotes are both inspirational and beautiful.Highly recommend this book to anyone who loves to keep a journal or do art journaling, the prompts encourage self expression and exploration.

One of the BEST Art journals on the market! I love this sturdy compact book! There is space to draw, write and create with my colored pencils and pens. I love to take this slightly smaller journal on trips to create in.

Another awesome book by Jane Davenport! This one is meant to be a creativity starter and a journal. I can’t wait to journal in it and be inspired by Jane’s prompts and beautiful artwork!

I love it so much! It’s so inspiring and colorful and it just makes you want to be creative! I highly recommend!!

Jane Davenport's art work in this journal is wonderful, as we've come to expect. The drawback, however, is the binding. It should have been done with a spiral binding to allow the pages to open sufficiently. As it is, with a hard binding, you really can't open it wide enough to write or draw on the blank pages. That is a big disappointment.

A rgreat way to start 2020 creatively

This is a journal, not a regular book with instructies like we’re used to from Jane Davenport. In this book Jane Given you ideas for a jounal with plenty of space to create.

I love Jane's books, and her artwork. She has a luscious style that's easy to be inspired by and this book is no exception. I only gave 3 stars because most of the artwork in this book are simply reprints from her other books. As she is a professional artist with many, many drawings, I know she could have included more variety of her original art rather than re-hash works previously published in her other books.The images are gorgeous and the journal paper is of good quality. It will be lovely to use, with delightful writing prompts. However, if like me, you have most of her books, the artwork will feel reposted rather than refreshingly original.
