Shark Premium SC630 Portable Steam Pocket

The reviews were mixed, but I didn't know if the nay-sayers were just expecting a miracle worker for under $100 dollars or if it really didn't do what it says. Well, it's not half of what the videos show. Forget the "squeegee" wedge for it. There's no such thing as streak free cleaning with this. It's useless for mirrors, stainless steel, and anything like that you want to get rid of streaks. The direct spray nozzle does remove some tougher grime but only if "directly" on the grime, so I guess they named it correctly. It looses the grime, and you wipe it. It did loosen the soap film on the shower door, but again, I wiped it clean to get it streak free.The good....my kids had a blast with the toothpaste in the bathroom. I tried various cleaners and couldn't get it off without risking damage to my paint on the walls. This led me to purchase this item, and it did it's job on that. No more toothpaste on the walls. It also did a pretty good job on a wooden slat door I have getting the dust in the hard to reach places. I can't see how anyone can burn themselves with it, as the steam really isn't that hot unless you're RIGHT up on the nozzle.Yes, it does clean, and I hope at least it accomplishes the sanitizing it claims. However, you work your butt off still to get things clean. The first couple times you use it kind of hurt your hands, and you have to switch off to be able to complete your tasks.I'd happily pay $30 for this product. It's not worth much more than that. Is it total junk? No. Is it all it says? No. Just not worth the cost. I'll keep it for what it does, and eat the cost as a bad consumer decision. Amazon is fantastic with returns, but I'm not really too concerned. Like I said, I'd be more satisfied if it cost about $30.

I give this product a 2-star rating only because the package came with a lot of extra items including a tote bag. However, after putting it to the test with 3 other witnesses by my side (each of us tried putting our own spin on trying to get it to work), it failed miserably.Unlike the t.v. commercials, my shower door did not simply get clean with a couple of passes. It took countless tries and it still needed to be wiped down with a rag/paper towel to get a crystal-clear look (and my shower door wasn't even that dirty).Next, we tried the outdoor grill. No luck. Standing for over 10 minutes on one simple grill bar is not my idea of effective cleaning, and all for a slightly less dirty-looking grill.I am a true advocate for green cleaning and was hoping to eliminate the homemade cleaners that I use in my home. In my opinion, the steam is nowhere hot enough to do a really good job. You can put your hand in front of the steamer, and it is hot, but it would need to be scalding hot to truly break down dirt and grime.I never jump into a purchase; I take several weeks gathering information to make sure that a product can meet my needs and is working for other consumers prior to moving forward with a formal purchase. I am very disappointed with this product and hope that they come out with a commercial version that can really do the job right.***Note: the steam does take awhile to come out, but as I try to be a firm believer in the effectiveness of a product, I ignored the time delay while operating it. However, even with a positive attitude and looking up tips online, it simply is not worth the time or hassle to purchase and return it.

I've only used this once, but so far I really think I like it. It's a little hard to get the hang of it at first, with the cord and the different attachments. I cleaned both my bathrooms, and while this was a bit awkward at first, it really did clean pretty good. My shower is horrible about soap scum, and even the best cleaners have a hard time getting all of it off, but this did a pretty good job. Is it completely soap scum free? No, but it got the majority off and perhaps I'll clean the shower more often now..who knows. At any rate I absolutely loved it on the oven. My oven is self cleaning, but that really doesn't work well and I hate to use oven cleaner. I used this with the concentrated steam attachment and then a wet rag to wipe up the dirt that was loosened and it was really awesome. My oven hasn't been this clean since we bought it. Also did a beautiful job on the sliding glass door, windows, counter-tops, oven door and front of dishwasher. Made them all quite shinny!

I purchased this item after I fell in love with the Shark Steam mop. I hate to clean because of the nauseating odors and potentially harmful chemicals of the majority of cleaning supplies so when I discovered the steam systems I was quite happy. This tool will probably work best to keep things clean rather than on serious stuck-on grime. I love how well it works on the old tile in the bathroom, but I still need to use a chemical cleaner for the tub itself for the time being. It will probably take me a while to determine which tool works best for which job and the portable pocket can get a bit cumbersome and heavy after about 20 minutes of intense cleaning but all in all I am quite happy with the purchase and I now actually look forward to cleaning my house. And I can do so around my two young girls without worrying about chemical fumes and residue!!

力を入れなくてもよくて簡単に汚れが綺麗になりました。とても良い商品だとよろこんだのもつかの間、スチームが出なくなってしまいました。青いランプも点いているし水も入っていますが出ません。買ってから2度使っただけで壊れてしまい結果的には高い買い物になりました。汚れがとても良く落ちていただけに残念です。
