and the grip is good for her to hold
I bought these sippys as transition cup for my 1 year old. In that respect, they lived up to the hype. The soft nipple is just bottle-like enough to encourage her to use it, and the grip is good for her to hold. I also like that they are fairly easy to clean.I don't like however that after a few uses, they seem to have lost their spill-proof quality. That quality comes not from a valve, but from a cut in the spout that the child can suck/bite to get a release of fluid. I don't know if that means over time the spout degrades/wears enough to allow fluid to escape, but it's no longer spill-proof as it leaks. It also leaks from the screw on lid. The lid, for whatever reason, doesn't like to screw on right. So it usually takes me about 5 tries to get it screwed on in a way that prevents leakage. And when your kid is crying, that's 4 tries too many. I should also note here that I am in no way a sippy-cup novice as we have been through quite the number of sippys from our older child.Anyway, it's a decent product, probably worth the price, my kiddo likes them, and I'm not disappointed enough to return them.

She could drink out of the sippy cup and loved to drink water
My one year old was having a hard time transitioning from bottle to sippy cup at one. She could drink out of the sippy cup and loved to drink water, but when I started trying formula and milk, she wouldn't have it! I got these because they are more similar to bottle than cup, and it worked! She can hold them on her own and drink her milk. Like all sippy cups, they will leak and I am not a huge fan of the tops because it's just one more thing to hae to keep up with. But overall, a great cup especially for the early drinker!

Good Transition Cup
I bought these to transition my daughter away from having a bottle at night. It's been 4 days and she's getting the hang of it. They are a little different then a bottle so she had to adjust how she gets the milk out. I think that they will work for what I wanted them for. I also like that they come with tops and are easy to put together and take apart. Overall happy with this purchase.

Decent but they do leak a bit.
Good sippy cups, used them to transition from bottles, worked in one day! Good capacity, good grip-a-bility for little hands and they seem pretty durable. They come with a cap which is nice when traveling but fair warning, they do leak from the spout, it's not 100% leak proof. I have to keep an eye on my little one as she loves to shake water out all over the floor and play in it.

Great transitional cup
this is the only sippy cup we have successfully had success with in transitioning from a bottle for milk! They do, in the beginning, have an odd but potent plastic smell to the tops. I washed before use but they still smelt strongly. It didn't taste funny and my toddler still drank from them but they sure did stink. After several washes the smell seems to be going away!

The cups are fine no major issues it's just my child is talented ...
The cups are fine no major issues it's just my child is talented and can make anything leak. I wish their were options with the colors though, my son refuse to use the pink one since it's girl color.

Love that these cups have a travel lid
Love that these cups have a travel lid. Easy to clean, also. However when I first received the cups they had a very strong plastic smell. I hand washes them several times, ran twice through dishwasher and could still smell it. I let them soak in warm, soapy water overnight and then ran through dishwasher again- better. Overall, good cups, just weird smell.

Not For Babies with Teeth!
I think this product would be great for babies without teeth. Price was great, but my 1 year old has front teeth and the nipple only lasted about a week before I started noticing little plastic pieces in my child's mouth. To me that's a safety concern and would not recommend to parents that are transitioning to sippy cups if your child has teeth that came in early. The nipple also caves in, which can be annoying because you're having to grab the cup from your crying child to pop it out. Easy for the child to grab and I liked the cap feature that protects it from falls. But again would not recommend for babies with teeth, which is about 9 months to 24 months, and that means the cup is used for a very short time.
