Strenco 4 Inch Self Adhesive - Hook and Loop - 5 Feet - Sticky Back - Black Tape Fastener

Purchased for a sofa that has the cushions slide and get out of place as soon as you sit on it. Thought I would need all of it by the way some reviews sounded but soon found tha a 4"x4" square on each one worked well enough. I had it on a week and haven't needed to adjust them once yet.

I used this to hold heavy, light blocking curtains over a large bedroom sky light. It has worked like a charm. Stuck well to ceiling drywall and stuck just as well to curtain fabric. Has been up a good month now. Work nights and sleep days on sunny end of the house. Needed a way to get it dark in my room but yet still be able to take it down when I wanted.

I got this to put on some old sew on uniform patches so I could wear them with some of our newer gear that has loop panels already on it. So I only needed the hook side. I wasn’t sure how well the self adhesive would perform. But that stuff is on there. You have to be careful when applying it that you have it where you want it. Because at least on patches once it’s down it’s staying. I had to just trim some that I got a little bit off. I used scissors to trim it. Which worked.....OK. If I do some more I’ll use a razor blade and a piece of wood for a cutting board. The scissors were really hard to clean the goop off of. And it was hard to trim around curves because it was sticking to the blades so hard. Which is a good thing. Just use the right tool for the job.

I would have rated higher but I used on fabric to hard surface and I am not sure this was a good application. The velcro did not adhear to the fabric like I thought it should, but it is holding, just tends to peel off when I need to reposition the cushion. Thanks!

The adhesive is strong and its easy to cut to shape. Using the hook side to make standard patches more versatile.Just do not over sew with a sewing machine. I got through one patch fine, but the next patch got jammed up when the stick glue starting getting transferred to the needle and bobbin case. I had to spend half an hour cleaning adhesive out of the machine... ugh Wish i could find rolls of 4" hook without the self adhesive.

Cushions would move every time I sat down on my couch. These are a relief! I used a strip in the front and back on every cushion of my sectional except the corner one. The cushions stay in place nicely now. They are not absolutely perfect but so much better. I will note, though, that in addition to the Velcro, we connected our sectional together with latches on the bottom to prevent the couch from moving every time we sat down. I think this together with the Velcro helped our couch situation. Quite possibly the Velcro would not alone help. But I cannot be sure.

I bought this product to use outdoors on my solar cover reel for the pool. I needed Velcro that was wide, stuck really well to my metal cover reel, and held strong when the Velcro straps from the solar cover were attached to them. This product met all my specifications for my use case and has worked out great after using the Velcro strips for a couple of weeks now. They are easy to cut into the specific sizes you want and they are really sticky. I have no worries about them falling off of my cover reel; even exposed to harsh conditions of rain, sun, and humidity.

This tape works great and the adhesion is very strong!! It was just what I was looking for to fix the Velcro that had worn off from underneath my one couch cushion and there is plenty left for any more repairs that I might have to do. And it could be used for just about anything. The possibilities are endless! I love the self-adhesive backing.
