best in the series!
This might just be my favourite story in the series yet! Langlais returns readers to the fantastic and wildly imaginative world of her cyborgs with adventure and suspense. Romance, self-discovery, and forgiveness all make an appearance as danger threatens at every turn. Langlais’ smooth and forward writing kept me wrapt as the story unfolded. She makes some of the most inane comments endlessly comical based on their context.I love how the cyborg names span a range from normal human names to unique ones based on what the individual cyborg remembers or how they view themselves. I liked the way that Aramus was developed, both in the past and present. It gave a great deal of insight into his prejudices and temperament. I also found it intriguing to see the GI cyborg pre-liberation. It put a lot of things into context for me.Oh Aramus, Aramus, Aramus, was it ever fun to see you eat your words. Aramus’ blunt personality is priceless. It never fails to make me giggle while also giving me a glimpse of all the pain and betrayal that he’s been through. Countered by Riley’s endlessly caring nature, Langlais has created a couple that definitely stands the test, in this world and beyond. This was an absolutely fantastic novel to read, taking me out of this world and out of my reality while I was lost in its pages. It’s an even more unforgettable story when taken as an addition to this series.

Aramus
Riley was being held prisoner by so company and when Aramus came to raid he found several others plus Riley and interviewed them for information. Riley was happy to be rescued from the company and tried everything to get Aramus to notice her as a woman. Can they come together or will something happen to them? Recommend this book and series

Machine and human meets sheets and they love it
Aramus hates all the things human, they are responsible for the destruction of his kind. Nothing good has come from them, never mind he is half human, he is a Cyborg, he is better than human. A few of his fellow Cyborgs have fallen in love and let their human emotions weaken them, something he will never allow himself to fall prey to.Riley is a doctor rescued during a mission to save a fellow cyborg. Aramus decides to use logic to remove her from his mind and body. She is just an urge and once he has given into his urge he will no longer desire her. Riley falls for Aramus and believes her stubbornness will prevail in getting him to reveal he feels the same. This is in a series and previous characters are mentioned but not necessary. I was not as invested in this story as I was in the first two books but this was still a good one. Aramus has always been the well-known human hater of the group. So we knew he was going to end up with a human and would have been disappointed if he had ended up with another cyborg. I thought it was interesting the way Langlais lightly touched on discrimination and blaming whole groups of people for a select group of people who have wronged you…I was like ahh reading rainbow moment. All in all light cute sci-fi romance read with a few funny punch lines, I am not mad I bought it.Straight to the Swagger: Riley a doctor captured to perform autopsies on mutants (I know different right), rescued by cyborg Aramus. He wants to keep her at arm’s length because she is human and he hates humans…but uh uh not her. Machine and human meets sheets and they love it.

Great plot. A little let down.
I was really enjoying the sarcastic dialog between Aramus & Riley. Sparks flew between them though Aramus understandingly believed all humans should be hated. But Aramus could not keep away from the sweet scientist. I really loved them together. But then Arasmus went into denial & abandoned Riley on a dangerously unstable space port. He only turned back when he learned she was recaptured by the evil Company. I mean what did he expect would happen? He knew how dangerous it was to leave her there. He wasn't going to turn back & seriously meant to go on with his life without her. Even though he admitted to himself he cared. And the intelligent, smart cracking woman forgave him in mere minutes. She should have kicked him to the curb & found some one else who truly had depth in the first place & never abandon her. Men like that are cowards & afraid for themselves.

great read
The human government seem as if they have become even more sadistic when the cyborgs board a ship the missing cyborg seth has left the coordinates to, they find more enslaved cyborgs and humans who have been experimented on, they take them back to their ship as hostages.Riley was a female doctor who was forced to work on the ship and suffered abuse by the soldiers and is one of the hostages taken by the cyborgs, she tries to befriend aramus but of course he hates humans but he cant stop thinking about her sexually, he cant understand why and according to medical advice he is told to bed her to get her out of his system. This book is really good, its funny, with action and romance. I couldnt help but fall in love with amarus his character is grumpy but a loving alpha male kind of grumpy, riley is determined to show amarus thst he isn't the uncaring cyborg he says he is.The characters are great and fully formed, the story is fast paced and it sucked me in from beginning to end I absolutely loved it.In the epilogue seth shows up whichbleavesvyou dying to read his story. These books can be read alone but you do get more from them reading as a series, some are better than others, ifvyou love cyborg alpha males who fall in love with their women then this series is for you also if you likenlsurann dohners cyborg seduction seriesbyou will like this series.

Slavery again
If you have read the earlier series this is in the same vein with the same quality. One annoying point is that after being made into drones and then getting free the Cyborgs have no problem wiping womans minds to use them for sex if they don't co-operate making them as scummy as their ex human masters. I am still enjoying the series and Eve is a very good writer, if you haven't yet get her boxed set of the 1st 3, they were worth it and not badly priced

Excellent addition to the cyborg series
I've read all the books in the series and loved them. There's humour sexiness drama and excitement in each one. But the best part for me is following the different cyborg story lines. I'm particularly looking forward to the next book about Seth. Well worth the read. I love cyborg romantic hero's.

Cyborg heaven
I have read all in this series and have enjoyed them .Arasmus is very good but not quite as good as the others but still 4 stars worth ,maybe I am getting used to the series or mans inhumanity to man ie. Cyborg, it just felt a little flat in parts.Needless to say I am looking forward to Seths story and can hardly wait for it.
