Harrison's Bird Foods Pepper Lifetime Coarse Certified Organic Non-GMO Formula Bird Food 5lb

I've been buying Harrison's for years for the consistent quality of the bird food (certified organic non-GMO) and the pepper! Budzilla loves his food and is a happy healthy full-feathered customer. I also give a few nuggets to Sunny the sun conure (who eats the fine grind) who thinks they are extra treats and loves munching on them. Excellent product! And happy healthy feathered friends.

My birds absolutely love this product

I've had my birds on this since I got my first parrot back in May 2000. My Avian Vet said "Spend your money on that food, or plan to be seeing more of me!". I've followed his instructions and he was absulutely correct. I adopted a 39 yr old Amazon parrot who had not been on this food. He lived to be 52.5 yrs old and died of nothing food or nutrient related. My currently oldest amazon turned 50 this summer. He loves his Harrisons, as does my 20 yr old. My smaller parrots are all on the appropriate size of Harrisons and I have never had an issue with their health. My budgie lived to be over 15 yrs old and had traveled with across the entire US from ME to CA and back and even the stress of travel did not make him sick. Great food. Only thing I can say is I wish Harrisons would make the 'pepper' flavor in a smaller size! When my conures and Amazons are out together, my conures go over and eat all the Amazons Pepper Adult because they love the flavor. Thank you Harrisons for making this terrific product!

always use this company for my bird food fresh and on time

Admittedly I only purchased Harrison's "Pepper" Lifetime because Amazon was out of stock on the regular Lifetime pellets. I didn't expect my Eclectus to take to it right away because he's always been a picky eater and very neophobic.When he first saw it , he just touched it with his beak avoided it eating his old pellets. All I had to do to get him to give it an honest try was place some of the pellets on my dinner plate. Pretend to eat it with him on my shoulder and once he was begging for a taste of my dinner I gave him the pepper pellet. After actually tasting it he absolutely loved it. Later that day I poured only the pepper pellets in his bowl and he wiped it clean. Suffice it to say I'm thrilled.Much like the rest of Harrison's pellets, this blend features only healthy ingredients, all "organic" without preservatives so no guilt about making this 50% of his caloric intake.I hope your parrot takes to it as quickly as mine did, it's good stuff!

It took awhile to get my U2 off of seeds and this is not only vet recommended but my U2 picked this one and will even take as a treat when we are out.

I mean, I didn’t eat it to know flavor, but Hayli doesn’t complain. The size is worth the money for sure. Let’s me have a reprieve for a little bit. I get this, regular, and like dried fruit which I mixed together. Gives me an abundance of food. Having to spend a ton of money for toys, it’s nice to have a few months off with food.Good value. Was told by a vet it was good food for Hayli. Never really looked back. I got infested by moths one year with the birds homestore’s custom blend and decided to make my own custom blend. She SEEMS happy. And no extra moths! Makes me a happy girl🙃.
