RCRunning 2430 7200KV 2mm Shaft Sensorless Brushless Motor with 25A ESC Motor ESC Combo for 1/16 1/18 RC Car

Update:Gear ratio was wrong on the 1/18 Losi Desert Truck and stripped. Decided to place in TACON Thriller 1/12 scale. Sad to say; Motor burnt up. Probably the 1/12 scale Tacon was too much for this combo. Both the motor and ESC were burning up. Sad Panda!Do you have an old 1/18 scale Losi Desert Truck laying around? Does it run on a brushed motor and NIMH batteries? Do you want to bring a brushed truck to the modern decade? Then you need a RCRunning 2430 7200KV 2mm Shaft Brushless Motor and 25A ESC! I stripped out the old AM radio electronics, and removed the old brushed motor. The existing fasteners were good to go as the motor had plenty of mounting options for different motor mounts. The motor has a 2 MM shaft with a flat edge that made fitting a pinion gear easy. NOW I have a 1/18 scale bullet that can pop wheelies, even when going at half throttle. Now my new first world problem is the truck is too light for the amount of torque and power behind the small motor. Like other reviews mention, I would only use 2S Lipos with this system.

I was searching for a brushless motor for my hangon racer and found this motor and esc combo fit perfect. Bike is fast. Make sure you get a 2s 850mha lipo battery. I couldn't find anything else that would fit. The battery compartment is a bad design.

Works good and seems reliable. It went right into a Latrax Teton using double sided tape without any quirks. I'm running it with the stock nimh battery and stock 10 tooth pinion. I ordered the RCRunning silver esc programmer and programming is a snap. Truck has plenty of torque and speed compared to stock brushed esc and motor. I just cut the stock battery and charger connections off and soldered deans/T connectors on. Must upgrade to aluminum drive shafts. My 10yo has cartwheeled and bashed it to no end and its still working fine!

Best bang for the buck upgrade for latrax cars I have came across. I have it installed on my Teton, bought another for my Rally. Super easy to install. Should put silicone over the exposed solder joints on esc to prevent corrosion. Should also replace on/off switch with something waterproof if running in the elements. DO NOT run with 3s batteries, 2s only.

Plefict little motor for my son 1:18 scale truck. He love the upgrade.

Made my kyosho hang on racer fly and do wheelys. I did buy it again good little system.
