Great product! Thick luxurious feel and no scent. Works very well. I had previously written a one star review because this was degraded at one point to having a thin, runny consistency and an earthy/moldy smell. They changed it back.

I have always had slightly oily skin, as I get older, less so, but still oily. I have loved Neutrogena (and not NEARLY as many products back in the late 60's, early 70's!) since I first tried it. WHY AND WHEN I use it now: NOT really moisturizing, but not drying either - FOR ME I only use it every other day. I use Dove's Baby Fragrance Free for Sensitive Skin the rest of the time. Neutrogena helps keep the oil at a minimum, but doesn't dry out my skin. IF you have dry skin, this may not be the right Neutrogena product for you. NO FRAGRANCE! I am VERY sensitive to fragrance. Didn't use to be til my forties and then lots of scents could give me a headache. I love this is fragrance free. Just as a bonus, I love the pump on this. I don't like soaps, I like liquids and this has a great bottle and pump. BOTTOMLINE: IF you have slightly oily skin, combo skin (and I use a moisturizer that agrees with my skin at night because as I have gotten older, I use retinol so top it with a moisturizer) and FRAGRANCE is a DEAL BREAKER, you may want to give this a try.

I’ve been using this face cleanser for a while now and it’s one of the few that actually works well with my sensitive skin. It removes makeup easily — even stubborn stuff like foundation and mascara — without leaving my skin feeling stripped or tight afterward. I really appreciate that it’s fragrance-free. I try to avoid any added scents because they usually irritate my skin, and this one doesn’t cause any issues at all. It just does the job — simple, gentle, and effective — which is exactly what I need in a cleanser.
