Our Isopods are raised on a diet consisting of fresh vegetables and insect chow. With every shipment we include a sample pack so you can get your colony growing right away. We ship them in 8oz containers already well established and breeding. They make a great addition to any vivarium or terrarium, we use them in all of our mantis tanks and dart frog tanks. Our springtails are raised on charcoal and fed yeast. It is easy to move a coupe pieces of charcoal onto a new tank to seed it. They do an amazing job at cleaning up waste and are also a nice snack for most animals. Our cultures are at least 30 days old and are thriving with both adults and juvenile springtails.
