We had a birthday party where everyone (adults) were mermaids. This tail was perfect! It was a great price and fit! I did have to cut a hole and put a drawstring in because I got a large instead of a medium (adult) thinking I would not fit in a medium. Could I have fit the medium? Probably but I don't mind having a little extra room and putting in the draw string. The other amazing thing is this includes the monofin. GET THE MONOFIN. It completes the look and makes it so the end isn't just fabric. The fabric is also very durable, we were in Rocky areas on the beach and the material was tough enough for it!The seller also includes a little note and picture of their family with the purchase which I felt was a nice little gesture!I'll recommend these to anyone.

This mermaid tail comes in a wide variety of beautiful colors and patterns. It's soft and stretchy and fits easily over the monofin. The monofin required a bit of a learning curve to put on at first, but as other reviews mentioned, it's easier if you get it wet first. Once the monofin is on, it stays in place.The package arrived on time and with a nice note from the seller, along with a bonus mermaid necklace, which was a sweet surprise.So far, it's holding up well, hasn't faded or snagged, and hopefully will be in use for a long time.

I wanted to play and take some mermaid pictures, so I bought this tail. I love it, it worked perfectly for my need. It has beautiful coloring, comfortable, durable, and my daughter and I had fun. I will be purchasing another ❤️

I've been mermaiding for years. I usually use Fin Fun, and I love everything about them except their weak fin. I went with Suntails this time due to their sea monster tail, which is super close to how I imagine 'my real tail' to be. It looks absolutely amazing in the water, I just LOVE it. No words to describe how it felt to have the tail that says ME, after all these years. Very pleased with the monofin. Very easy to use and similar to Fin Fun in design except it is SO MUCH FASTER!!!! It took me a bit to get used to the straps they have. I'm not a huge fan of the mesh in the pockets, and I've read other people have cut it out so I may do that. Very comfortable and fast fin.The sizing was difficult at first. Their chart confuses me some, because it appears to be junior sizing. However the women's/misses pant sizes don't line up with the measurements, at least as I know it. I'm about 127 lbs, 5'7 and wear a size 4 pants (I think, not totally sure since sizing everywhere is different). I emailed Suntails first and they suggested a large, but after seeing another review here where a mer bigger than me got a large I went with a medium. I don't regret it, it fits perfectly and the large/thick waistband is so wonderful and stays up perfectly.I can also note a big difference in fabric between Suntail and Fin Fun. This fabric feels smoother and thicker, and oh man it dries SO FAST! I was excited when I got home from the pool that it wasn't still soaked and it dried overnight, versus Fin Fun which can take sometimes a day to dry if left on a shower rod like I usually do.A couple of things I didn't like, was the first time getting the monofin in the tail was SO HARD!! I had to stretch the fluke so much I was afraid I would rip the fabric. It was a very tight fit, but it loosened after a few times of getting it in and out. The tail protectors also take a bit of practice to keep on the tips while you are getting the tail on, or else they fall off and you have to start again. It also gaps more at the bottom than I'm used to with my Fin Fun, but I found in my pics and vids of me swimming, it can't be seen. I did end up getting one blister from where the strap laid across my toes, after about 3 hours of swimming. I have women's size 11 feet, so my feet come just past the second strap. I'll have to play around with it more.Finally, the tail protector stickers. Maybe I didn't apply them right. They came off not long after I got into the pool. I'm an adult tho, I know not to abuse my tail and I take very good care of my tails, so it isn't too big of a deal. I think if Suntails is able to perfect the tail tip protectors like Fin Fun has, I'd switch over to them for my tails entirely. The beautiful skin and the fast monofin make them a very good competitor for a company I've used since I started mermaiding years ago.

Not only does it look well made, it’s beautiful. I like when these smaller companies add a personal touch like a thank you note. I 100% recommend these tails!

Such a fun gift. Strong material and soft. The flippers are not hard to use. The fin is ever protected with a soft Clear contact style wrap on the corners so they do not easily scratched. This one is better than most others. It even came with a nice little necklace for the kiddo. Thank You for a well made product.

Shopping early for Christmas, a monofin was top of the list for my niece, after reading reviews on several I choose this one. I figured a tail would be a nice surprise and and oh boy is it pretty! very vibrant in color, double stitched at seams and the material seemed of good quality as it was surprisingly heavy. I liked that it came with a note and picture of the family, and a added surprise for the would be mermaid. IT HAS A ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY , this is a Christmas gift so I hope the warrenty will still apply as it will not be given till Dec.

My daughter just turned 8, we ordered the 8/10 large size and it fits perfect. There is plenty of material to pull it up higher if she gets a little taller. I was worried it might be a little baggy since it's a large but it NOT baggy at all. The material is high quality, the color is vibrant and it feels so soft. The swim fin is durable and comfortable to wear. The tips of the mermaid tail have a rienenforced material for extra durability for the fin so it doesn't rip through the fabric. She feels like a real mermaid and gets so many compliments on it. We love it! Oh! also it came with the cutest necklace as well.

I had just bought this for my oldest kid when mine (exactly the same but in purple) split mid-swim. Kid had been practicing with a cheap and flimsy one from China and was ready for a REAL quality tail. Then literally the second time we swam together with both our Sun Tails, mine snapped itself while I was in the deep end. These are gorgeous but I guess not durable for powerful use, I was getting pretty good at swimming fast with it and it strained it too much I guess. Very sad and missing mine, I've ordered myself a Fun Fun one, hopefully it's more powerful.

Would definitely order again but it's so well made I won't need to unless I go for more coloursUPDATE loved it so much I bought a pink one as well for my oldest kid, then mine split itself while I was swimming in the deep end. I didn't hit it or anything it just split. Messaged the company but no reply, I guess after a year there's no warranty but I only got to swim with it 8-10 times. Loved it so much, needing a replacement monofin now so I've bought a Fun Fun one, hopefully will last longer...

This mermaid tail (fabric & actual tail itself) are of great quality. Very much worth the $.
