Fun for the kids and grownups too!
This is a really cute and fun to play game, which is well made. The assembly is easy, with disassembly equally as easy. The tree is in two parts which are simply pushed together to assemble. They don't snap so they can be pulled back apart to be stored in the box once play is over. The catapult was a bit difficult for my 3 year old GRANDdaughter to manage at first, but she soon discovered how to use it. Recommended ages stated on the box are 5 and up, which I think 4 + would be accurate, depending on the hand/eye coordination of the child. My GRAND made up her own game play and I think as long as a game brings challenge it is a winner with me. I do recommend this game as it is really fun to play with 4 players as it creates excitement in trying to get all of your monkeys into the tree before your opponents.

Kiddos 6 & 4
Played with teenage cousin & again with Grandpa - plenty of fun - enjoyed active playing & used eye hand coordination skills. S/b 4 colors of stickers to attach to 'monkeys', green, blue, yellow, red. Only came with 2 blue, yellow, red - green stickers missing. Doesn't affect play. Must un-assemble 'tree' to fit back into original box for storage.

Good for the little kids
Having winners and losers makes for tears with 3 and 4 year olds. I like games that can grow with them and this is one of those. We have lots of fun playing and just trying to get the monkeys on the tree. Later I can introduce the rules and the concept of who has more. Make sure you look it over carefully when putting the stickers on because the colors of front and back of the monkeys needs to match.

Easily breaks, catapults can be ... Wonky
We opened it for Christmas for my kids yesterday because I have fond memories playing this game as a child. All of the componentry is as I remember it, but one of the catapults doesn't work like the others and it was hideously hard to snap the little tab into the slot.... And now, no matter what you do, even if you're super skilled, all the monkey fly straight upwards when you use just this one catapults. Also, one of my littles stepped on one of the monkeys on the floor and the base broke off. There are no extras. So now I would have to just buy a second copy of the game to get a full set. Love the game but why can't there be a higher quality version of this for those who have nostalgia and love to play this with their little ones?

Everybody can play together if you change up the rules for younger children!
This game is nice, but it's mostly too hard for my almost five year old and my eight year old finds it frustrating after a short time. BUT my whole family, including teenage daughters, like playing it together, and even though it's difficult for them, my littles can play alongside of with the rest of the family. I suggest modifying the rules a bit when playing with littles so that the littles are allowed to get the monkeys up there even if they are laying across the tops of the trees and yet the older children have to get them up there only by having them hang off of the tree (as the rules say). This evens the playing field enough that the littles have a fighting chance at feeling successful. :) I feel that the game is pretty well made. All in all, my family loves this game.

This game is so fun! We often do round Robin tournaments with it. All ages, 5 and up can play this. You simply toss your monkey at the tree using a little diving board sort of thing and whoever gets theirs on first wins. It’s not a long game, this tournaments. It would make a fun family reunion game...whenever we will get to do those again,
