Does what it says
These media converters work great. I have purchased about ten of them so far to support legacy equipment on Windows 7 networks where 10Base2 Ethernet adapters are not supported and/or not available. So far they have been flawless, just plug in and select the type of cable (Crossover or Patch).

No issues with this product. I plugged it in, it worked, and I never thought about it again.It isn't shown in the pictures, but the device plugs in with a somewhat bulky transformer-type AC plug for power. This is the kind of plug that covers half of the next outlet on a power strip. Of course this is only annoying if you are running out of room on your power strip.
