FURminator Undercoat deShedding Tool for Medium Long Hair Dogs 9-23 kg

Excellent for thinning out rough hair and undercoat, works a treat in my Irish Terriers coat and really handy having the button to clear brush with one hand. Brilliant. Half the price that Pets at home charge, guess it’s not a copy as comes in official packaging.

I’ve only used once so far as I got it yesterday but I would give it 12 stars if I could. I have a short hair large dog that leaves an insane amount of hair around the house, I’ve definitely seen less hair on the floor in the last 24 hours. And I don’t think I have seen him scratching this morning. It’s expensive but worth it. It works really well and hopefully will last very long, the quality seems very good. I wish I would’ve bought it a year ago.

You can buy a dog brush from the pound shop or take the plunge for the money and buy this.... It's quite frankly Amazing. On opening it was quite obvious that this was a well thought of piece of kit. Good robust, easy on the hand with a good weight. Our German Shepherd is 3 and a normal brushing session can be awkward with little hair reward. Not with this bad boy... Our lad actually sat up proud and was up for a good bushing. He loved it... The brush/comb action is light and produces immense amount of unwanted hair. The click lock protector is a clever feature to protect the teeth. Very clever. Ok, I'm very impressed and now I've tried it, it is certainly worth the money.... I'm waving a thumbs up here.

Excellent for getting dead fur out of the dogs coat, really makes them shine and less fur in your hoover, only need to do it 2-3 times a week to start with then once a week after, dogs love it it's like a mini massage

These should be called Moulti Tools. If a manufacturer takes the name up feel free to pay me commission. My recently adopted husky has started shedding in February (I still feel freezing, LOL!) I'm still learning best use of the tools, but clearly a slicker brush is totally useless at deshedding my dog. I have a rake and detangler tool, but went straight to this Furminator. My back garden now looks like a snowstorm has hit it, even a day later. I hope some lucky birds grab some fur for nesting. My boy really enjoys being groomed with this. He stands still, contentedly. Maybe he just likes the fuss, or possibly it's like having a good scratch. I didn't apply much pressure, basically let the weight of the tool do the work. It didn't snag or pull in use. (And I hadn't washed him or needed any attempt to detangle.) I'm making do with the medium size for now (bought at a discount.) It works really well. I'm not sure if it's worth my adding a more expensive large or even XL version, which would work a wider area but presumably struggle in nooks and crannies.

Absolute magnificent for my fluffy cocker spaniel. Really helped with the undercoat nicely, couldn't recommend enough!

I’ve got a Belgium Shephard dog? With long hair. This brush does remove the undercoat, however doesn’t really bush the topcoat. So I still need to use my original brush.

I got this for my French bulldog and it exceeded my expectations. Frenchies shed all-year round but this definitely helps with the reduction of hair fall.
