With the prevalence of ethanol in gasoline, the carbs on all small engines die after a few years. Yes, they can be rebuilt, but for this price it is easier to completely replace them. Simple and quick: I bought an extra one this time and it's sitting on the shelf waiting to be used. Because of the many variations of linkages used, every unit required some minor adjusting to connect properly.

Direct fit, starts right up!!!

Very easy to install. It took me about 15 minutes to change (10 minutes of this was just draining gasoline). This purchase has inspired me to learn how to fix all of my yard equipment on my own. Great money saver!

I worried about this carburetor not fitting due to some of the reviews and the price being so low. However, I'm happy to report that not only was it a perfect fit but, easy to install and no need for any adjustments. My generator started on the 2nd pull.

Well worth the money. Much cheaper and quicker to buy a new carb, rather than rebuild one. quick swap and my engine was running again. no tuning necessary out of box. gives me time to clean and jet the original. now have one on shelf ready to go

Installed on my stump grinder and made a slight adjustment and it runs perfect.

The carb works, but the choke mechanism is opposite the original one. Had to "rig" the choke control.

I replaced the old original Honda GX 390 with this new carb (looks just like the original). The engine fired right up and ran perfectly. It was so well adjusted, I didn't even have to adjust idle speed, air mix. This carburetor replaced a carb that listed for more than $100.00.
