INTJ: Understand And Break Free From Your Own Limitations

Just Ok
I liked that it was a bite sized overview of the INTJ type. I personally didn't get much out of it because, in focusing on personal development, I was already doing most of what the author suggested. Lots of typos.

The book will say things like, “you are this
While this book is informative, the title does not reflect the content. This book, 38 pages, contains a large amount of typos and grammatical errors. I don’t think it has been edited. The content does not offer anything of substance. You can get more information online in a few clicks, than in this book. The book will say things like, “you are this, but you need to be more open-minded” but lacks the content to steer a person in that direction. The examples are weak. I’m not sure why this has such a high rating, as I found it subpar. I would not recommend this book to anyone, as the title and subtitle are misleading. I would attune this to a cut and paste off the web for a quick dollar. Skip

I'm sorry, but no
The grammatical errors, I cannot get past them. Maybe I'll chalk it up to my "judging", but I can't take a book seriously that is written so poorly. I have read free websites that are better written with more insightful data. I don't want to be mean for the sake of being mean, but this book just was not for me. :( I'm sad I spent $3 on it. That was my choice though. Tip - you can get most of this information from a website called 16personalities.com (INTJ is the architect)

Helpful
Good information and aligns with other information I have read. The recommendations will be difficult to do but I know my flaws have been noticed at work and commented on. One thing I disagreed with was that a romantic relationship is needed to be happy or that high importance was placed on that. I suppose people who value romantic relationships might agree. That said I am much more happy in my life being single and frankly not having the headache of a relationship. Sounds terrible I guess but it’s my truth. Otherwise you will like this book. A short read.

Poorly Written
There were simply too many grammatical errors in this 40 page book. It was distracting and upsetting enough to cross out and add words myself.Have the decency to edit your work if you’re going to write a book about a highly analytical type.Otherwise, this book attempts to get the reader to “break free from [their] limitations.” Unfortunately, it feels more like the author is convincing the reader to be a completely different person as they state, “Judgement has no place in your life” (Brighthouse 26). This seems counterintuitive to tell a judgement type. This book is not worth making a purchase unless you want to practice editing/revising other’s work.

Pretty Good
I found this book helpful. However, there were several grammatical errors that gave me pause. Overall, very insightful. I would recommend

If you are looking for a thorough book, do not buy it
The book doesn't seem to be coming from intj person. Maybe that's the main reason why it appeared shallow to me - I wanted actual advice how to improve myself, not to 'open up' to people (which, by the way, I am decent at) and be less judgmental even if being so is my strength . I could condense the whole in a one good list (the one at the description does the job), add a few references for 'inspirational stories' and done. You could find better reading material online.

Good balanced read
An easy book to read and digest, considerate in approach which kind of works for me as an INTJ. Overall I would recommend this book, for me it was a great to reflect on my own strengths and weaknesses and to “press restart”

Good as introduction to INTJ
Good book for those who haven’t read much about this personality type. I would have liked to read more practical and insightful examples for improvement.

Disappointing
More of a pamphlet (35 pages) than a book. Feels rushed and is littered with mistakes. Offers very little insight into how to overcome your INTJ “weaknesses”.
