I am a ballet teacher and if a student brought these to class I would not allow them to participate. Absolutely NOT safe. *BALLET STUDENTS AND PARENTS: DO NOT PURCHASE THESE SHOES FOR CLASS!* Due to the quality and over all structure of the shoe, I would not recommend these for anything other than decorative purposes.

Order a size down from your normal pointe shoes. These areas HUGE and I can't use them. Plus they came with pink ribbon and not red to match the shoes. I wasted my money 😢

These are great! I bought them for a photo shoot.They are very nice. The shank is very rigid, as you may be able to tell in my blurry photo, but with some love, it breaks in like any other pointe shoe. The satin outside is very pretty and smooth. You’ll need to break traction if you’re going to actually dance in them.The box is kind of wide, but with toe pads it’s totally perfect for me! The included toe pads are great, although I prefer silicone. They cover the toes well, but the metatarsals may be uncomfortable if you have long toes like me. I ordered a full size up: I wear an 8 street shoe, so I ordered a 9 (43 EU). Without toe pads, I do sink, but the built-in elastics provide decent support if you’re traditional & for some reason you can’t exchange them. I haven’t sewn in my elastics yet, but I did end up choosing these over others because of the included toe pads, elastic, and ribbon for the price.Not on par with professional shoes by any means, but great if you’re on a budget, need them once or twice, and know what you’re doing. I don’t know if I could recommend these (or any pointe shoe) to anyone who isn’t trained OR as a practice shoe. I saw some people asking if they would be good for Halloween or something; if you’ve never worn pointe shoes before please buy the soft slippers instead or don’t try to go up on your toes. I’ve definitely seen some things.I may update in a few months to comment on their durability if I use them as practice shoes after the shoot.

Shoes came exactly as expected. The ribbons have to be cut and sewn into the shoes which was a bit confusing. Overall a great product.

They were delivered on time. They were delivered in a thin bag and were smashed and had a black dirt stain on the front from not being in a box or wrapped in protective packaging. 😕 would have really liked to have instructions for cutting and attaching elastic and ribbons.. overall a good shoe for what we needed ... my daughter just wanted them for home practice. The toe inserts fell open at the seams but we replaced with silicone ones anyhow.. I would purchase these again if better care was taken in shipping.

My daughter got these to practice for fun around the house. She’s worn them maybe a dozen times for 20-30 minutes each time and they are falling apart all over. They may be inexpensive, but they should last longer than 30 days.

I bought these for my eight year old who wears a size 3. I ordered them a bit bigger. They were too small for her. They are beautiful shoes and seem to be of good quality. We gave them to her friend who seems to enjoy them.

When I opened these I noticed they were obviously used and returned. I was disappointed at the quality of these shoes. Would have been pleased with them if they weren’t dirty and used though.
