I wanted a computer, not an app device.
This thing is a struggle. I bought this tablet specifically to have something to write with, and not have to carry around a bulky laptop. You know what this tablet doesn't have on it, even when purchased brand new? A text editing program. Not Word, Wordpad, Notepad, or any other form of file editing software. This is quite the shock, especially considering that my PHONE has a text editing program (especially ironic as this tablet has much of the same formatting and data as my phone). Literally the only thing I wanted this for I can't do. Oh sure, it has some "OfficeSuite" nonsense, but it won't let me alter text without downloading a ten dollar program.Downloading anything is a struggle, and Google Play will claim that an app has been installed, when it hasn't. No online solution seemed to cure this. Downloading word editors from other sites only produced a file that the tablet will not run, even if the app is listed as being for Android. Also, bear in mind that tablets -- probably more than just this particular model -- will not run programs not specifically downloaded through an app store. Meaning I can't just take wordpad from my laptop and move it over to the tablet. It won't run the program. It took downloading the Amazon app and downloading a writing program from there before I could finally use this thing.Another weird thing to note was that I uninstalled one of the standard apps (a news thing, not one necessary to the tablet), but when I restarted the tablet, the program had returned. Not sure what that's about. Also, the touchscreen is a bit insensitive, but that's not really a big issue.A warning to potential tablet users: this tablet is not simply a small, regular computer. It's a device that only operates with specific programs, like an ipod or a video game console. I don't know if that's the deal with all tablets these days, but it is with this one. This one is more for a casual user, one who just wants to play games and listen to music. I'll give it a chance for now, but we'll see what comes of it.Edit: Alright, so after calming down a bit, I've come to terms with the purchase. The video/audio function will be fun with young relatives of mine, and the application I downloaded for the tablet works alright. It would be better if I could save text on an rtf file, but alright. Some downsides are that the keyboard is odd, placing certain symbols on different keys than they would be on a standard device. This might be common with tablet keyboards, but this, combined with the soft plastic of the keyboard, makes it harder to use if your typing speed is significant. I'm about at the point where I would rather not use the keyboard.Another downside is that text is treated like it would be on a phone, with an autocorrect function. That's kind of annoying, and something people who wish to purchase tablets should keep in mind.

Good tablet.
This tablet is great for every day use and will make a great gift for someone, or for yourself if you wanted it.It runs smoothly, has good sound quality, great video quality, and is worth getting.Only issue I have with mine is the bluetooth function became unavailable after I did a factory reset, which is weird.
