consistent quality beans
I find these beans have plenty of character and strength, but don't give you the jitters. Have been buying them for a number of years and so far, the quality consistency has been steady.

My favorite coffee for years!
This coffee tastes best I believe when it's a light roast. It's rich and full with very little acidity. I just love it

Delicious coffee!
I bought the light roast and the full city roast. For me the perfect cup of coffee is a 50/50 mix of the two. Yummy!

The Very Best in the World!!! 5 A+ Gold Stars
The Very Best Coffee I have ever purchased!I have found that roasting this in 3 small batches, at different time intervals and the grinding the beans and blending the 3 Roasts, brings out a magnificent flavor, aroma and quality.I roast three, equal amounts of beans at 9 minutes, 11 minutes & 13 minutes.I have used both my AirPop Popcorn popper and my Stove Top Popcorn Popper for Roasting. Both produce outstanding results. This process produces a very smooth, delicious, cup of Heavenly Coffee. No need to add Cream or Sweetener. If you do, try a little 100% Organic Real Maple Syrup and Grass Fed 1/2 & 1/2.Absolutely Scrumptious! This Roasting also produces an excellent Espresso!!!I quit buying coffee at any coffeehouse! This one is Superior to them all!My friends and family all agree!!!

Extremely stale Peru...
I buy coffee from many roasters, usually smaller, local companies, although Fresh Roasted Coffee Llc on Amazon is almost always excellent as well. Thought i would give this company a try... I received the coffee three days ago, and the roast color was appropriate for a very light roast (which i selected - it's my favorite), so that was good, but there was almost no aroma whatsoever. Also, the bag was virtually vacuum sealed. Any coffee roasted within even 3 weeks emits some CO2, which is why the bags puff up when you get fresh coffee. Even if they pushed all the air out before shipment, after a couple days shipping, the beans emitted no CO2? Bad news bears, as my grandma used to say...The proof is in the pudding, though, so i put some in my burr grinder and got started brewing a couple cups to try. Once again, when pouring over the freshly ground beans, zero CO2 (when it bubbles and froths a bit - again, this is a sign of fresh roasted coffee). And guess what, folks?. The coffee tasted stale. I mean, *really* stale. A fresh, light roasted Peru is usually an awesome cuppa, but this was not even close. No aroma, just a quick hit of papery acidity and a brief hint of the milk chocolate it probably would've had tons of...six weeks ago.Judging by the many great reviews here, I'm guessing this must've been some unfortunate mistake. Based on my experiences buying coffee from 11 different roasters this year alone, I'm confident that the coffee i received was roasted over 6 weeks ago (or *maybe* four weeks ago &it was improperly stored in a 110°F warehouse all through July...who knows?). Since their whole marketing claim is that they roast it when you order it, this is not right.I tried to contact them first, because i always like to give sellers a chance to respond before leaving negative public feedback. But, their contact link is not working, and they have no online presence except Twitter, and no website. So, here it is.

You may like this Peruvian....I didn't
I've been enjoying single source Peruvian Coffee since I first discovered it and I have had great luck in finding roasters nearby. However, I thought I would try this and see how it was. Unfortunately i purchased the medium roast as i do here where we have small roasteries...but i didn't find the roast to work for me at all. I also found the taste of the coffee off putting. The company is very responsive and explained it was fresh roasted. They seem to be a good, honest company. I will just stick to my locals and wait for the Peruvian beans to be available.
