A premium shampoo that makes your beard soft and smell gorgeous!
This gorgeous shampoo smells great! It reminds me very much of holidays; you really can smell the coconut oil and shea butter... As some have noted, the shampoo appears brown and very runny, although don't be put off by this. Whilst application is a little more difficult to begin with, the shampoo lathers up extremely well. I tend to apply it twice to my beard (use, rinse and repeat) and it makes it sooooo soft. I'd say based on using this every other day and twice, as I've suggested, you'll get around 4 to 6 months out of a single bottle. So despite the premium price-tag, this is good value for money. Plus, if you're like me (completely bald) then it'll be the only one you need to buy!

The BEST beard shampoo!!!
I usually use another brand of beard shampoo but thought id give Gnarly Joe a go. Best decision I've ever made, my beard has never felt soooo clean and soft. The viscosity of the shampoo is on the thin side but that doesn't mean anything, as you only need a small amount. I do use another Gnarly Joe product afterwards which just makes it 200% soft! Highly recommended 👌🏻

Nice and easy to use and you don't need a lot
Been using the same wee bottle for around 2/3 months feel I can give it a fair. I feel this is very hot and cold with myself some days it drys my skin on my chin a little bit and makes it really flakey and others it's good. It has a nice smell coming from it. This stuff is more watery than shampoo normally is but don't be deceived by this you only need a spot on your palm and it will cover your beard no problem. I do like this product as my beard does feel nicer tho a little expensive you do not need to buy it very often. I've given this a 4 star rating because it has worked nicely on chindruff more often than it hasn't

Runny Shampoo Shouldn't Devalue a Quality Result
Shea Butter and Coconut beard shampoo. After 8 months of settling for cheaper brands I thought it was time to up my game. My beard was getting dryer and itchier and I needed something that would solve the issue. I read up on the reviews before and was made aware the beard shampoo was runny, which didn't bother me. Working for a cosmetics company, I get that not everything is the consistency we're used to, but that shouldn't devalue its quality. This stands for the Gnarly Joe Beard Shampoo. The smell is really nice, not too strong, sweet and earthy. Once the product goes in my beard it lathers up beautifully - a little genuinely goes a very long way. With cheaper products I'd be likely to use three times the amount for the same sort of lather. End results are as I'd hoped. Beard itchiness is gone and feels (literally) squeaky clean. There's no overpowering scent after use, my beard just feels nice and fluffy. I've only been using the product for a week but so far I'm very happy with the results. I'll wait until I've finished with my first bottle before I post any final results regarding beard healthiness or growth. So far I'm feeling quite optimistic.

Watered down - ruined a once excellent product
This used to be a quality product - a very thin dark brown liquid which magically lathered up all thick and white from a tiny amount of product. Now, it’s a very light brown and somewhat less watery - they have used something to water it down and give a very different texture (probably more in line with what the market expects texture wise - more like a cream than the naturally thin liquid it used to be) as a result, you need much more product than before, and I’m left feeling that a once great beard wash has gone on a money grab. I’ve tried to return it as it’s not the product I once knew it to be, but alas you aren’t allowed. I feel quite scammed by this, and certainly won’t be buying again.

The best beard shampoo I have ever used
I've been a bit cheap when it comes to buying beard shampoo before. Never thought it would be worth it to spend as much as I did on this bottle. But then I had some spare cash lying around and I decided that once my current bottle had finished that I'd try a more expensive bottle. I'm seriously glad that I did. Even though I read the bottle before the first use, the colour and consistency still surprised me. it's a very odd looking brown colour, consistency of water and doesn't smell like any shampoo I'd used before. But it lathers up an absolute treat with a small amount. I've got a reasonable size beard and I only use one pump. it takes a couple minutes to get all lathered up and deep into your beard. You'll need to be sure to wash it all out thoroughly, and dry it well, but after that - it's amazing. My beard feels softer and cleaner than it ever has before. I haven't had any issues with dry skin under the beard since starting this, no itchiness, flakes or anything. The beard looks amazing for days. Absolutely, 100% worth the price.

Ok but the bottle is rubbish
The product is OK, not the best but the smell is nice and lathers well. The problem with these products is the packaging, maybe I got a dud couple but all you have to do is look at them and they clogg up. It makes it a pain that I have to add on time to clear the lid out literally every time I use them. For that reason I won't be buying these again, they are expensive for there to be that kind of oversight.

Gnarly Joe -> the only way to go!
So i will be keeping this fairly brief: I have gone through many different brands and products when it comes to beard care and especially shampoo, probably looking for the "right one" for about 2ish years before i found and tried Gnarly Joe. I have a fairly long beard, not too dense, fairly straight hair. The shampoo itself is very fluid which caught me a bit by surprise at first use, but it makes it easily spreadable and work into your beard. Great smell, subtle enough, not overpowering which i find great and flushes out easily while leaving your beard clean, fresh and soft. It never let me down, with other shampoos i either had them dry out my beard ultimately, or a weird overpowering smell and some of them actually resulted in me getting split ends which i do blame on the shampoo because it happened after use with some and stopped when using others and also Gnarly Joe. Ultimately i won't go back, won't try anything different anymore. Gnarly Joe works like a charm and while a bit pricey, you get what you pay for in quality ingredients, a healthy and clean beard and the bottle actually really lasts a long time. One happy customer! Thanks Joe ;)
