NECA Mogwais Series 1 Action Figure George Gremlins 2

George hardcore
George is my favorite mogwai, he looks like he is up to no good. The detail of this figure some of the best i have ever seen, neca is by far the best at what they. Can't wait till mohawk mogai comes out at the end of august. It cool that the eyes move in all directions. My wife says he looks like he is alive. Every time i walk by it i move the eyes to look somewhere else and creeps the wife out. If you have the chance to get this figure, get it you won't be disappointed.

Cute figurine
My son had to have this when he was going through his Gizmo phase. It is a cute figurine and he loved it.

Imagine waking up next to this thing.
As soon as I saw the pictures of the Mogwai figures, George was the one that I fell in love with. That bitter, disgruntled face sold me immediately. I wasn't too sure about the movable eye feature since the first Gizmo NECA made not too long ago didn't have it, and he was a good figure, but hey, anything extra is nice. Unfortunately, that's the only extra the little mean Mogwai got. No accessories what so ever, and yet the price of the new Mogwais are a couple of bucks more than the old Gizmo who came with quite a bit. As much as that sucks, George is a fantastic figure and I couldn't help but smile as soon as I took him out of the package.Standing at just under 4 inches tall, George may not be as big as most of the other Gremlins figures, but he's a standout. The black and white fur, pointed ears, irritated expression...he's quite a character. Articulation is limited for obvious reasons, and probably because let's face it- in the movies, the Mogwai puppets couldn't do a whole lot with those stubby little limbs. You can move George's ears, head, shoulders, elbows, hands and legs. On top of this, there's a ball on the back of his head which allows you to move his eyes around. It's a cool feature but they could've done much better with it. The problem? The eyes aren't in sync with eachother. Move the ball a tiny bit and both eyes go in different directions. Even when you take your finger off of the ball, the eyes will move a bit, messing up the look you wanted to keep 9 times out of 10. Other people have reported that the eyes on their figures will float upward, causing the poor dudes to look dead, showing just the whites. On a character like Daffy, this feature makes a lot of sense. With George, they could've given him normal eyes and it would've been just fine.Like I mentioned earlier, George comes with nothing at all. It's a good thing they did such a great job on the sculpt because if some corners were cut, I would've bumped him down to a 3 out of 5. Anything extra would've been nice. Even if it were just some food or something. If you want George to hold something, you'll have to use another toy's accessories. Those problems aside, I still highly recommend George. He looks great next to his Gremlin version, and with the others in the line. He's such a little troublemaker that it's hard to resist buying him. Get him now before he's gone for good.
