I mounted mine so that the back wheel is on the floor to reduce the weight on the hook. Seems sturdy enough to hold it off the floor but I'll rather not take any chances if I don't have too

I made a cycle store in a narrow space between my garage and neighbours wall. This looked perfect for what I needed to store the bike. The problem is the hook hangs down and unless you can get alongside your bike, it's difficult to lift and hang the bike. We got around this by hanging the hook to the roof of the shed with a bit of string so the hook never dropped fully down, and meant I can hang my bike up without too much effort now.

The items look strong and sturdy. They do need a little touch up of paint as there are areas that have not been painted and could possibly be a weak spot for rust entering.

Very helpful hooks. We keep our bikes indoors and because they take up so much space we found that these hooks save us up so much space, keeping the bikes in a vertical position close to the wall.

The hook supposed to stay 90 degrees toward the wall so the bike will be easily hook up instead fall down parallel to the wall.
