NEW Set of 3 Superior HQ9 Replacement Shaver head Blades For Philips Norelco 8140XL 8150XL 8160XL 8170XL 8171XL 8175XL

I can honestly say these replacement blades work great. I have bought them in the past.. The problem these time I was sent the wrong ones. Before I did anything else I made sure I ordered the right replacement blades. Needless to say I was not a happy owner of an electric shaver. I had sent the blades on to my mom's house in San Jose Ca., because I would be on a work and holiday trip and not at home. The new blades would have made my face look smoother at my nice wedding. The new cameras get ever missed hair on your faces and red burn mark on your faces. I sent back the wrong blades and will wait until almost home to order the new ones. That is all I will say on the mattet.

I bought this product as a replacement for my speed xl I've had for years because i couldnt find genuine norelco blades at the time. The product came and looked different to begin with. Upon replacing them tonight with genuine norelco blades it's clear that these are an inferior product. The protective housing doesnt allow for hair to reach the bmades as easily and the norelco bkades are considerably sharper. From the start the blades felt dull as it tugged constantly and required me to shave longer than new norelco blades. Hitting my neck became even more of a chore than it was with the old norelco blades I replaced.If you're looking at this as a possible replacement don't. Go over to the norelco store and pick up a set of genuine HQ9s and save the hassle. I popped in the new genuine ones and the shave is immediately closer and there's no pain from crappy blades.

Purchased a new Norelco shaver and found out they have downgraded their product line by going to a single row of blades as opposed to a double row by doing that you can get a closer shave by rubbing a piece of concrete across your face so now so had to buy these old style heads when my old shaver dies I WILL NOTBUY an other Norelco. I wish I could send them my new shaver but if they don’t know where to store I would be happy to tell them where to put it but these heads work perfectly

Have to go over sections several times to cut where original blades provided a much cleaner single pass result.

The blades aren’t as sturdy as the originals and they fit lose in the shaver which means they are t making contact with the head close so the trim isn’t very good my old blades are about 5+ years old and cut better than these new ones if they were more substantial they would probably cut as well, I’ll end up buying original equipment ones or just using my old ones rather than these there is a reason why they are so much cheaper than the brand you get what you pay for used to spend less than 2 min shaving now it’s like 5 minutes and still missing a lot of facial hair

My first use of the razor with the new blades resulted in a poor shave and hairs being pulled from my face. I had to go over the same spot several times to get anywhere. No matter what I tried the blades would not perform anywhere near as well as the old dull ones. The last straw was last night when I tried the razor one last time. It would not do anything. I planned to go online to get a replacement razor and put the old dull blades back in until it arrived. However, when searching for them I discovered I had a set of replacement Norelco branded blades and covers. I put them in and the razor is like new. Lesson learned, pay the extra money for highly rated Norelco branded blades. Do waste your money on these.

Takes longer to get a decent shave than Norelco products, but I couldn't buy just the OEM blades. Don't know if they'll last as long as I just started using these.

Have ordered these or similar and they always work well.
