Very Impressed with Quality of Boombox and Sound Quality! Easy to use and set up for first use. Easy to use. As mentioned by others, the Volume and Radio tuning knobs are very sensitive but it is easy to get used to. I am also very impressed with the sound quality of this unit. Much better than I expected. For the money, this boombox Rocks!

This review is for the 'GPX, Inc. Portable Top-Loading CD Boombox with AM/FM Radio and 3.5mm Line In for MP3 Device - Red'. The compact size is great for traveling (if so choose). There were a few key features that the boobox lacked:1) You cannot program radio stations. That would have been helpful for those who listen to various stations. There is a Program feature - however, it only works for the CDs (which I found quite odd). I included image of those instructions.2) The radio tuning knob (on the top right of the radio) is very sensitive. You have to turn the knob extremely slow as it moves from station to station quite rapidly.Overall, the boombox is decent - for the price paid (less than $30).

I have ordered and used GPX brand of speakers before, so I know it’s a good brand. I am quite pleased with the purchase of this am/fm/CD boombox. I ordered it so I can turn it on for my puppy when I leave the house. It’s perfect for us.

I was planning to use this in my business as a massage therapist. The day it came, I broke my shoulder and have been unable to work, so it has stayed in the box. Pulled it out today to set it up, and it will not play a CD. It keeps displaying ER. I have done all the tricks-even called the service number that came with it. It comes with a 90 day warranty, but I am 4 days past that. If I had been dishonest and told them it was a new gift, would their answer be different? I realize I probably should have taken it out of the box to check it, but I have been in so much pain, it didn’t occur to me.

The CD player works fine, good sound 5 stars. The radio is tuned with a knob, not up/down buttons. Drifts off frequency. 1 star.

Love this boombox the clothes pretty but it says it plays MP3s and it doesn't but I will recommend this to anyone it's really cute and functional
