Best terminal of this style on Amazon
Ok, out of like 6 different terminals just like these that I’ve bought recently, these were the best. The presentation is meticulous - no slacking. They include several bells and whistles that you could definitely put to use. The quality is top notch - the gold plating is impeccable. However, this is the same alloy cast metal that easily breaks if you tighten it too far. So I didn’t bother even tightening it down and just returned it.I think solid brass or lead is the way to go, but you don’t get the versatility that these terminals have, nor the multiple connections, nor the good looks.I ended up going with standard lead mil spec terminals and I’ll have to use a distribution box nearby the battery. I gave up on making my battery look cool thanks to how fragile they are, as well as their universal poor figment. They’re always loose and you can easily twist them off if you barely even turn them.I want my terminals locked on tight af. Last time I had one these the chrome plating disappeared from corrosion in only two weeks. This was due to a loose fit on the negative (and I’m running 2,000 watts rms). Thankfully I popped the hood and found it otherwise there would have been a fire I’m sure. My amps were always super hot with that chrome one.Granted that was a different product and it was lesser quality than this in terms of craftsmanship, but it’s still the same design - which is poor. Now, I do have another battery with the little m6 bolt terminals. I bought the XS terminal converters so it works like a traditional battery (tapered cylinders) and the xs terminals had deep cross hatching all over the outside of the brass terminal. This terminal I’m reviewing actually locked in to the XS due to the grip from cross hatching. But those XS terminal adapters were like 20 bucks - so I returned them. I’m just going to go with aluminum 1/0 terminals from the local hardware store and be done with it.

Decent value. work great.
Seem durable time will tell, work well, really cleans up under my hood and provides reliable connections. Didn't like needing the hex key and the wrench to tighten, but no biggie. covers seem a bit flimsy and come off a bit too easy. Should I add an audio system, I would be able to install dedicated circuit with little effort and zero alteration to current wiring. Lot better than the connectors that barely had room for the starter lead, much less additional stuff. I only avoid the 5 stars as I don't know how durable they are and I feel like decent jar will leave one of the covers bouncing behind me on the highway.

Will not break like Lead
purchased a couple sets of these and they are just what I needed to replace SuperDuty battery Terminals....was able to cut into factory cables and attach with the Hex head screw down connectors with min. effort. Would recommend/use them again. The fact they look like a piece of jewelry …..I guess that will help folks not look at all the dirt under the hood....

Great quality!
Used these to upgrade my terminals and after 2 months, I love them! Voltage drop to my amp in my trunk has decreased greatly when under high load and I took the opportunity to upgrade my starter wire too and now it fires up almost instantly! I had to modify the plastic cover to adapt my 2awg alternator wire on a O ring but it still does the job. Would highly recommend!

Not of the best quality
I had issues with wiring so I had to remove the battery terminal 4 or 5 times. Because of the continuous tightening and untightening the terminal snapped in half. Seems to be very cheaply made.

+ terminal too big
Nice, heavy, high quality pieces. The positive terminal, however, was too big to clamp down on my battery. Had to hammer out a lead spacer to make it work. Not the end of the world, just took longer to install than planned.

Check note First
It is practical, it looks good quality but the negative terminal is too large for the battery and does not bring any accessories so that it can be fixed or connected in a better way.

Junk
GARBAGE!!!!! Broke way too easily. Go on ahead and spend the $60 and get a quality pair that won't break cause these are nothing but a headache.
