Worth it. can lie flat or use as chair.
Works so far, ive used this on the floor to sit down, works fine, i bought a colapsible stool to sit this on top of aswell and that works pretty well, weighs next to nothing and i slid it down the back of the backpack so it only takes up space nothing else could have taken in the bag. it can adjust from a seat to lying flat on the ground to have under your head while looking at the stars or just lying down takes a bit of the cold away from you too. was worth the purchase, has a little pocket on the back too 2 metal bars going through the bottom make it nice and strong

Wonderful product
This collapsible chair is a fantastic invention for picnics and outdoor events! It's incredibly easy to use – simply sit down, and the chair forms around you. It's lightweight and compact, easily fitting into a backpack for easy transport. The quality is good for the price, and it's definitely a game-changer for my back when sitting on the ground. However, there's room for improvement. The frame feels a bit flimsy, and the seams where the two halves connect don't seem particularly strong. I'm concerned they might tear with regular use.Overall, despite these minor concerns, I highly recommend this chair for anyone who enjoys outdoor activities. It's a convenient and comfortable solution for sitting comfortably on the ground.

Your back will appreciate this ! It's a game changer for sure !
I have chronic neck and shoulder pain and so, it's really painful to sit anywhere without support. Therefore, I can't sit for more than a few minutes on anything that doesn't have a back support. I love to sit by a river and contemplate nature, but the places where I go, there are no seats anywhere. With this seat, I can go anywhere and have a very comfortable seat to sit in, relax and enjoy nature.First, I find a place with a pretty flat surface as if there’s any kind of slope, it will be difficult to get comfortable. Then, I lay down a piece of polystyrene (about 5mm thick) to protect the bottom from damage and dirt. Any small sharp stones could easily puncture the material and quickly shorten the life of the seat.Next, I just lay the seat on the flat surface, sit down on it and stretch my legs straight out, with my feet also touching the ground, and this chair supports me so well. I can sit on it easily for 30 minutes and, most likely for over and hour !I think that stretching the legs out is probably the best way to do it as it seems to help balance. At first, I didn’t stretch my legs and it wasn’t nearly as comfortable and I always felt like I was about to topple over backwards. This seat is so lightweight that you won't even know it's there when carrying. Without any attachments or ties, I just slide it between my back and my rucksack and it fits in there snugly and safely. The weight of the rucksack holds it in place with very little chance of it falling out.I was truthfully apprehensive about buying this as I couldn't imagine it working that well, but I was delighted at how well this actually works. I’ve had it now for 5 years and it’s still in great shape.Anytime you're out walking or hiking and there's no seat in sight, you've got a handy dandy little guy on your back. Be sensible and treat this with care and gentleness and I'm sure it'll last for ages.

Good back support for floor sitting
Really useful for floor sitting with aching joints. Works like a cantilever when legs outstretched

Brilliant, only let down by poor quality thread
Got my Mum one from another company, so she can sit and play games on the floor with her grandkids in comfort. Both loved it, went to get myself one, sold out, found THIS one. Seemed the same enough, bought. Within maybe ten uses the thread holding one of the supporting rods on the seat half broke, unraveled, and left a little hole through which the rod could slide, inexorably, out of the seat every few minutes. As I was at the beginning of a two month trip to Cornwall with many excursions to beaches and cliff tops with this seat planned, this was quite the nuisance. 8 weeks I spent poking the bloody thing back in again every five minutes as the chair slowly collapsed to the right as the rod slid out of the hole. I have now mended it myself with heavy duty carpet thread rather than return it, as the item is otherwise brilliant and worth the price and I'd hate the waste, knowing it was likely sent to landfill if I returned it - but seriously guys, reinforce the stitching at the end of all the rods, or use stronger thread in the first place, and you'll elevate your product from mediocre offering to rip of the market. It's otherwise padded and comfy AF, even sat on a massive thistle or unfriendly rock, and the elasticated mesh pocket on the back is perfect for carrying your book, tech, beach shoes, swimwear, snacks, all sorts. Might be good to have a solid strip of fabric at the bottom of the pocket in the next incarnation, so you don't get sand in it quite so easy when you prop it up in the sand, if Product Development bods are reading this - but that aside, top notch product. Also useful that the carry handle is big enough to slip over most wrists, allowing you to keep your hands free to carry other stuff. Seat is light enough not to notice the weight of anything other than what you put in the pocket. Handle also makes it readily attachable to your backpack.

Works surprisingly well
I used this as a seat when spending evenings inside my tent; the idea was that not having legs it wouldn't damage the groundsheet. Once it was adjusted with the straps I was able to sit comfortably for long periods and read a book.Sometimes the straps needed readjusting but that was no problem. It packs down flat so it was easy to pack in the boot of my car. I wouldn't take it solo up a mountain though unless you were cool with carrying a large flat square item.
