Fun Stress Release Series ~EDAMAME Soybean Cell Phone Charm Strap ~Japan~

I was happy that the key chain arrived sooner than I expected. Though I wasn't so satisfied with the product itself. When I opened the package, I found that it felt REALLY oily/greasy, and I noticed an ink stain on the back of the key chain from the packaging. But I wiped off the ink stain and washed the key chain, so the oily/greasy problem is handled, but I wiped the middle bean with the face on it, a little bit of ink came off. Plus I noticed a weird smell emitting from the package and key chain (I think in time, it will dissappear). All in all, I love the idea, the product is super cute, but the overall quality I'm not so happy about. I may have gotten a key chain from a bad batch, I don't know. Though if you love cute things like I do, you may not be able to resist this. But be aware of the quality.

I bought two of these keychains, one for me and the other for a friend. While the item did arrive well before it was supposed to (yay!), two of the beans in both keychains were yellow and looked like they didnt belong. The two outer yellow beans were sticky and looked like the plastic had melted making is hard for the bean to go back inside once it popped out. Also, not that its a big problem, but the mameshiba keychain came in an entirely different brand of edamame packaging which I thought was weird.Overall, in my opinion, the price you pay is worth it (c'mon it was only a penny!) and while it might be counterfeit its still super cute!

When I received the item, some of the beans were melted and deformed! The entire thing was so sticky and oily it didn't work. It is a very cute product never the less.

I've always wanted one of these so when I saw this, and for such a good price, I couldn't resist. Came a day before expected which was nice. Very cute and very fun. I was a biy disappointed when I saw that only the middle bean had a face. I was under the impression that all three did. That's the only reason I gave it four stars. Overall it's a great product. Very fun and does work to relieve stress. :) And of course it ADORABLE! :D

This product broke before the first twenty minutes of opening. As I began to squeeze it, the middle pee popped right out and then as i picked it up snapped in half. I thought maybe I could put it back in, but then noticed their was a plastic piece inside where it had snapped off. It's so terribly made. It's adorable yes, but the face on the inside wipes right off. I would of really liked it, it's unfortunate. Thanks anyways.

Hilarious and cute toy. It is a great stress toy to have, however, you must be careful to not put too much stress or pressure on the rubber band mechanism of the peas. I had pushed way too hard and did not notice until the rubber band had snapped. Keep in mind that I had been pushing the beans in and out of the pod for a few hours before the mechanism gave out. In fact I just purchased two more! One is a replacement and the other is for my brother who requested one after seeing mine.One thing to note is that the pod was super greasy when I first removed it from the packaging. Soap and water helped to remove the grease. The peas also stuck to the pod due to some sticky stuff that was on the peas, but it is removable. That being said, this is a great toy and looks adorable as a keychain.

Some people are saying this isnt the "official" mameshiba product, and they're right. This product is actually BETTER than the "official" one. The "official" keychain has the face on the pea right where it rubs up against the pea pod. A LOT of people with the "official" keychain complain about the face rubbing off. This product has the face so that you can kind of see it through the opening of the pea before you push on it, so when it pops out after you push, its looking right at you. This prevents it from rubbing up against the pod - therefore making it last longer. I love this ! I always get compliments on it. Thank you.
