Sometimes Unreliable Auxiliary Charging Accessory
I bought this for an upcoming 2 week trip, during which I never used it as I always had good wall connections to charge phones at night. After the trip, I turned it on it at night to charge my phone, & it worked well for a week. Then I went for an overnight trip with my wife. I turned it on & it showed a 100% charge. When I was plugging in the USB cables to charge 2 phones, the display went blank, & it wouldn’t turn on again. It was DEAD. Fortunately I was able to borrow a USB wall plug with 2 connections & got the phones charged overnight. When I got home, I plugged the unit into its USB charger & immediately got a 100% readout. I’ve used it for charges for several nights since, & it’s going good.Other reviewers have commented on the sensitivity of the USB ports on the unit. They have also found the unit would die, though it was fully or partially charged, while plugging a USB connector for the charger. I will always have a USB wall connector when traveling in case I have to give it a jolt to bring it back to life, hoping that it’s just the sensitivity to the connector that caused it to fail. But then what’s the use of having the unit if I could plug it into a wall outlet anyhow. DON’T GET THIS IF YOU REALLY NEED A RELIABLE RECHARGING DEVICE.

It's HUGE! But that's OK.
This thing is way bigger than I expected, but I had never bought one before, so I really didn't have anything to compare it to. It's way bigger in reality than it appears to be in the picture, but that's not a complaint..... just sayin'.It is more than twice as thick as most of the Android/Apple smartphones out there, and about as wide and long. Just for frame of reference.Right now, I'm rating it 4 stars.Pros:1) Lots of battery capacity and ability to charge two items at once.2) Includes micro-USB.3) Accepts anything with a regular USB connection that requires a 5v charger.4) The LED flashlight is a reasonably nice inclusion.5) The digital readout for remaining capacity is nice, as is the bright blue backlight.Cons: (none of these are a deal breaker at all, especially at $15 price point)1) Not a pocket-friendly device if you plan on having both the charger and phone in your pocket, but just buy a smaller capacity device. It does what it's made for, and it's not made for the pocket.2) The LCD battery percentage readout is very weak and hard to read. You have to look at the LCD from a sharp angle to actually be able to read it much, even with the bright blue backlight. If you look directly at it, you see nearly nothing. Turn it at a sharp angle, and you can read it. But just the fact that it actually has the readout is still a plus.3) The included LED light for a flashlight is way better than having nothing, but the LED is a small 3mm (maybe 4mm) LED that is only sufficient for lighting up for emergency situations. You're definitely not going to use this for reading, or a walk down the street at night. On the plus side, it probably only draws about 1/3 or 1/2 watt, so if this device is fully charged, it should run that LED until entropy itself wears out and the rest of the universe is reduced to a uniform, useless, cold matter.4) The button that turns the device on and turns on the LED is very small and difficult to press if you have fingers larger than a toddler, but again, at least you aren't likely to turn it on by accident. You have to be intentional about it. Minor "con".Overall, worth the price for sure, although this will definitely NOT work for charging a phone in your pocket........ which was what I bought it for, out of my own ignorance. Still love it though.

What a great Buddy :)
The iPowerBuddy was a perfect companion for a long camping trip weekend! I camped out from Wednesday night through Sunday, and was able to fully charge my phone 3 times. I would have possibly gotten another half charge if I didn't leave it on the charger longer than when it hit 100%. I would highly recommend this product for people who are going on long trips that might not have access to plugs, or just as a backup to carry in your bag/purse when your phone dies while you're out and about.THANK YOU iPowerBuddy for being exactly the product I needed for my trip!!! You exceeded my expectations and will be great to have on hand!!

My iPowerBuddy will NOT recharge. After keeping it plugged ...
I wrote the below after failing to find a way to make use of my warranty. Later on, I stumbled across an email sent to me by the company just after I first bought this. When I replied to the email, the company was VERY quick to respond, and sent me a replacement.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~My iPowerBuddy will NOT recharge. After keeping it plugged in for days it ONCE charged back up to 100%, but not since that first occasion. I keep trying from time to time, using different cables, adapters, outlets, and even trying with connecting it to the computer. It is fully depleted now, and it is DEAD. A doorstop. A brick. DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE WARRANTY! I have been all over the reviews, the home website, Amazon... There is no way to contact iPowerBuddy to act on the warranty. I wish I had never bought this product!

Highly recommended, great storage capability.
This is a powerhouse! I usually get about 3 full charges for my Galaxy s6. I went 2 months with this in my dresser not using it and it only lost 2% of it holding charge! I would highly recommend this product. I will be giving these out as gifts this holiday season.

Does the job
I've had this for a month now. It seems to do what it is supposed to do. I have a Samsung SM-T310 and two Android based cell-phones. This charges all of them. The SM-T310 places the biggest drain on the device, but there is still enough juice left to charge all three. My only concern is that with the SM-T310 the charger will turn off before the tablet is fully charged. When I reactivate it, it will continue to charge it, but may require being reactivated again. A minor pain.
