Sage Water Coolers State-of-The-Art Hot & Cold Bottleless Water Cooler/Dispenser with UV Purification

Nice looking unit, looks good sitting on the counter in our break room at work. The LCD screen is bright and easily readable. Programming in intuitive and easily figured out even with no manual. A lot of thought seems to have been put into the design. On the cooler side the water that comes out is a nice cool, crisp temperature. The hot water however is hotter than hell even when set to the lowest setting. So much so that if you put how water out of this unit in anything other than a ceramic mug you will burn your hand because the container will get so hot. The water has an odd taste. I'm not sure if it's due to a poor quality carbon filter or if it's just because it's a new unit. I've had the unit in service for over a month now but the water still tastes a little off. There also seems to be some other issue with it where after dispensing cold water the display will throw out an error message indicating a malfunction with the UV lamp. I'm not sure if it's a firmware issue or if there is something wrong with the unit. Overall I'm not really overly impressed or disappointed by the unit. It could be so much better than it is but the couple of small issues really keep me from giving it a 5 star rating.***** UPDATE****This unit is completely dead now. The control panel started acting weird and not responding. After resetting the unit we couldn't get cold water come out of the spout. Now whenever you turn it on water just pours out of the bottom of the unit. This thing is junk. I'm just glad that it didn't explode in the middle of the night and flood our office.

Looks great, works as advertised. Would have liked an actual user manual as the pieces of paper they sent didn't cut it. I was able to figure it out through the interface without the manual it just took longer.

i installed it in my house...just perfect...many features..water temp control... quantity control for hot and cold separately... quite..I liked the UV and carbon filters..but you still need a dust filter to protect the unit.

The machine worked great for about 11 months. Then it started leaking out of a tube underneath the unit. I called customer service and we made an adjustment to the water pressure going into the unit. That worked for about two months and then it started leaking again. Now the water flows out of that odd tube anytime the hot water is turned on. Customer service was no help anymore.
