About the Author Jordi Bostock is the owner & founder of Jordico, Single on Purpose Ministries and published author of the book Hair loss: What to do if it happens to you. In 2012 she secured the title for Ms. Texas State, representing the Texas in the Ms. America Pageant. Jordi B: Single, never been married, no kids and lives alone. For years she shrugged off the pain and embarrassment of being single. Finally, she decided to confront God as to why she was single. It was through that inquiry God highlighted her life and revealed to her that every step was strategic. For 23 years, Jordi B has been a celebrity hair stylist/non surgical hair replacement specialist. Her ministry began behind the chair, client by client. God led powerful men and women to her that would rarely or never attend church. Jordi B became the church for them and was notorious for her loving yet outspoken ministry of the truth through the word. It was that same love and compassion towards men and women who were suffering from loneliness and rejection that she was prompted to write Single on Purpose. The daughter of Elder Susan Rachelle Bostock-Smith, Jordi B. was raised in a Christian household all of her life. Since 1998 she’s been a faithful member of the Potters House under the leadership of the world renowned Bishop T.D. Jakes. It seemed inevitable that eventually she would become involved in ministry and as God would have it she’s found herself in the Potters House School of Ministry. After her life changing conversation with God, Jordi B. completely refocused her life to do his will. Since then, she has written Hair Loss, What to do if it happens to you with contributions from three of the top hair transplant doctors in the country, Dr. Jon Gaffney, Dr. Robert Bernstein and Dr. Alan Bauman. A few years later won the state title, Ms Texas State 2012 and ran for Ms. America that same year. She volunteered her expertise to the Cancer Society “Look good, feel good” program as a stylist. Today Jordi Bostock is a much sought after conference speaker, encouraging people all over the world! She calls Texas home and her goal is to continue use her influence, experience, love and support to serve our country.
