I bought these to replace my old dryer balls that literally wore out after years of use. These are large about the size of two small oranges. No instructions in the package at all and no more way to ask questions in Amazon anymore that I can see. Other than in the description, I guess I fill with water—but how much? Do I refill it with water after every load? Do I use one ball or both? They are very noisy in my dryer compared to my old dryer balls that were more like rubber. These are hard plastic.

Update: I bought these in late August, it’s now late October, and I’ve thrown one away because of cracks. Also, the inserted foam balls shrunk to the point that I’ve been waiting for them to fall out (in fact, when I threw away the cracked one I put both balls into the one I still have, and there’s room to spare). I’ll continue to use the one I have, but I’m shopping now for replacements.————————————————————I use these with every wash load. They’re especially valuable if I don’t get the clothing out of the dryer right away. I simply pour water into one or both, depending on the load size, and run the dryer for a short cycle to steam out the wrinkles that my poor time management caused.

Very noisy. Tennis balls quieter. Can add water. Have larger ones. I thought they only came in one size.

This product is not working as described in Amazon market place, however, it will work some portion (60% ~ 70%)of product description.

Way too loud, neighbors hate them, colors are nice, switching back to wool balls

Used this product for years. Unable to get clothes out before they wrinkle? Put some water in and run for ten minutes. Great!

I wanted to love these. They do NOT produce steam, just drops of water. The noise is terrible, too. I went back to my good ole wool dryer balls.

They are alot smaller than Mr. Steamy. But sure do save on ironing or rewashing.
