Handy, Compact, Efficient
Works well on zucchini and squash. Handles them better than a spiralizer, which has limited length. No zucchini is too long. When the strands reach the desired length, a simple twist breaks them off. Easily cleaned with the brush supplied.Not good for hard, root vegetables like carrots. The strands need to be a bit flexible to flow through this device properly.I would like this slicer better if the safety holder would screw into the slicer. I do like the cleaning brush. It has a hanging hook in its handle. I got the pink color option; easier to find than black and good looking. Customer service of the seller very satisfactory.

Great end product, but difficult to clean.
Lots of fun, and love the final product, but this device is extremely difficult to maintain & clean. Would perhaps work in a dishwasher (don't know if it is listed as "dishwasher safe," as I don't check for that because I don't have one), but it is almost impossible to fully clean by hand.

Works fine, but you can really only use zucchini that is about 1" in diameter. I don't know about what comes out of your garden, but mine are more like 2". You can cut the squash to send smaller pieces through, but you don't really get "noodles" this way, just slivers.

Fun kitchen accessory...but
Love the spiral zucchini and carrots. I found that I had sore wrists after one zucchini. The lid with the spikes did not hold for twisting and about a quarter of the veggie was never able to be spiraled. It is wonderful fun occasionally and spiral zucchini and squash make wonderful, healthy noodles.

Works as described!
I can't speak to the overall durability of the Pro Spiral Slicer, as I have only had it for a week. I can say that it seems well constructed, and it works EXACTLY as described. I can't believe that I waited so long to buy this. The veggie pasta that it creates is AWESOME! I can't wait to try some other recipes. This is my new favorite kitchen toy!

Very fun to get cucumber
Very fun to get cucumber, zucchini, carrots spaghetti...I use it to make spring rolls and salads my wife loves it.On a different note I bought it online and did not have the choice for the color and I received a PINK one...definitively not my taste.It is also difficult to clean there are so many veggie pieces stuck in the blades.Michael

Love It!!!
This is a great product for anyone that wants to use vegetables in place of carbs. I have used mainly zucchini and have put pesto on it, sauted it with garlic and onions and used it as spaghetti. It's all in the seasoning. During the summer rush of zucchini there is a wonderful salad and I plan on using the spiral slicer instead of the vegetable peeler to make the thin pieces. Would highly recommend this product for anyone that likes veggies. The ends that are left over, put in a ziplock and in the freezer for use in a soup or stew.

It works ok on harder veggies but it didn't work for me on things like zucchini or cucumbers. Just turned into a mushy mess at the bottom of the blades.
