lymphodema
Having had a mastectomy I was told that I must never have blood pressure or blood tests on the arm on the side I had the mastectomy as they could cause lymphedema which is the last thing any breast cancer patient needs. I have searched for these for a long time and am now very happy that I can wear a wrist band all the time that will prevent any further problems. I would recommend them to anyone in the same circumstances as me

Lymphoedema bracelet
This is an excellent idea to remind others and yourself that you can not get any injections etc into an arm that has had lymph nodes removed. However given the chance this is also the arm more likely to be swollen the size is a bit small.

O.R. Nurse Approved!
Over the past 3 years, I've had 8 surgeries in my cancer journey. Having had lymph nodes removed from under my left arm makes me vulnerable to lymphoedema. That means I shouldn't have my blood drawn or blood pressure taken from my left arm.So, I purchased these to wear whenever I leave the house, just in case. As such, it was a natural thing for me to wear it to the hospital for my surgeries. Every single time, a nurse or anesthesiologist or surgeon or someone mentions how much they like that I wear this band! They also have their own processes that they have to follow (temporary tattoos, etc.) but still made a point to comment on this being a smart thing to wear.If you have any vulnerability that medical professionals will need to know if you're unconscious and cannot tell them yourself, consider getting this and wearing it whenever you go out. The silicone construction means it won't interfere with X-rays or MRI operations, and it's just a smart and inexpensive thing to have and use.

Great item for those with 'at risk' limbs
It is easy to forget that you have an 'at risk' limb when you are a surviver for 5+ years. Doctors offices are fast paced and before a person could think to mention their history of breast cancer years ago a cuff can be on the arm inflating or a blood sugar could be drawn. My hospital provides a version of these to each patient undergoing care, but I also prefer to keep a bunch in my office and at home for the people I know who might not understand the value of protecting the arm from lymphedema. These specific bands are well built, fits of most non-edematous wrists that I see and look inconspicuous. Great produce and worth having a few on hand if you work with an 'at risk' population.

Reassuring
I like the choice of color combinations, but I almost always wear the white band with pink lettering. It's comfortable enough to wear 24/7. It gives me peace of mind should I have a medical emergency and not be able to tell first responders to avoid using my right arm for IVs, blood pressure, or injections.

Great Bands
I bought these for my mother who has a fistula in her (upper) arm. I bought the regular set and they fit her wrist fine. It did seem to stretch a bit when she pulled it on, but she has no intention of it taking off so I don’t think it would be much of an issue. She absolutely loves them. As others have mentioned the grey one is kind of pointless.
