The leather is nice, soft and pliable. It's getting gorgeously scuffed (one doesn't buy oiled leather expecting to maintain a pristine shine). But! When the case is closed there's a big enough gap between the phone and the fold to hold a thick pen. This may not seem like a big deal, but it means the case slides around and feels awkward. It was clearly the same piece used for a wider phone, with the narrowed S10 back plate attached.I like it, and I'll keep it, but this reads as sloppy and careless.

After we bought our first Davis case every time we upgrade phones we come right back and order a new one for the phone.These cases are handsome and extremely well made. The actual phone holder is pliable for ease in placing and removing the phone when you need to, but it holds it securely while in the case.It is my husband's preferred wallet, holding his license, credit cards, and even his motorcycle registration.
