meh. the velcro isn't all that hot. they don't hold up super-well. you can attach a thing or to, but they fail fast if you pull firmly.. attaching the velcro under the molle strap seems to give it a little bit more stick, but not enough to depend on them for more than small/lightweight stuff. still, I keep them, but if I had to do over, I'd look for buttoned, or a metal/plastic molle clip, just to have more piece of mind and heavy-clip options.

I am not crazy about the Velcro attachment, works ok if I don't put too much weight or stress on the ring.
